Not me. I’d rather work at home and come to work a couple days a week to see people and be in an open space where I can see outside and other people and not feel like I’m in a jail cell. The fluorescent lights don’t even get me started with that

2:17 that's not a cube, that's a space between two cubes to make room for those two pipes, lol

I absolutely love my cubicle! Its private and very nicely decorated to reflect my personality. Life is what you make of it. 🥰

It’s designed to keep you working until death and not pursue your dreams. Still I would prefer a regular cube instead of open space

not a fan of the hot desk shuffle? claiming a new desk after lunch is fair game.

I'm working now for an organization that utilizes cubicles. Upon graduation from highschool I had a cubicle job and then for 20+ years my own office. Made a career change and returned to a cubicle!
It's an adjustment, I believe and know I work better in my own private office, but I do believe it varies from person to person. Trying to makes changes with my cubicle to increase mental peace & work productivity.

I work in a cubie and I love making it my own. I’ll take it over factory work, retail, or restaurant work. Retail work is the real nightmare.

I wish I had a cubicle ! I hate open offices ! No privacy at all and all that noise ! And now you dont even have a regular desk to call your own, everyday you sit somewhere different ! Please, bring back the cubicles !

I’ve had my own office, a cubicle and open space. The issue is not the work space but rather the environment.

I worked in both open spaces and cubicles throughout my career. I enjoyed working in open spaces a lot more. There was more camaraderie among co-workers, which I enjoyed, even though I’m an introvert. We engaged with each other and got our work done. I think office work in general, along with cubicles, can be soul crushing.

why are these jokers complaining? they have the luxury of high wall partitions
over the ditch, you get 4.5 foot walls, making it considerable louder and no monitor privacy.
they used to be higher, we used to have what was called the 'prairie dog index'.
you would make a loud crash in the workspace, and count how many heads pop up over the partition.
you would keep records on a leaderboard. fun was ruined.

  • @shreksburgers
