  • On 5 different tracks, which car is faster? The 98 Toyota GT-One (TS020), or the 99 Toyota GT-One (TS020)?
The 98 version only appeared in GT2...but the road version appeared in GT3 so...we can sequel it in GT3!
I previously did the R390 GT1 Race Car 97 vs 98, so obviously I had to follow it up with a GT One battle!
Yes, my driving is bad, this was filmed in March 2024, just after the birth of my twins, I was sleep deprived, cranky and could not be bothered redoing the mistakes I made over and over and over again, even though I did on Seattle which was a NIGHTMARE to film. I was definitely on the verge of tears with it lol :')
But anyway, I hope you enjoy this video! The TS020 is one of my favourite race cars ever!
Although I had already filmed it, Zero the hedgehog left a comment suggesting I do it, so you can have the credited for the inspo...or at least me putting it together quicker!

So I've done R390 vs R390 and GT-One vs GT-One...I wonder what could be next... 😉
Also, track selection...not the best for these cars, Seattle especially - I had over an hour of footage to get through. The best lap for the '99 I had was 5 seconds slower than what I eventually got. She's an untamed beast on Seattle.😂

Both 1998 and 1999 Toyota GT ONE also are the beast when facing against some of the fastest cars including Ai Miyashita's V12 LMR, Asuna Yuuki's Peugeot 905, and even against Cars from Formula One 99 (F399, MP4/4, J199, Williams FW21, and Stewart SF3).

I always loved a lot the 98 because of the livery, I always loved more the 98 version than the 99.😻❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I thought i was the only one, the 1999 version may be more iconic, but '98 looks cooler imo.

    Hello,
Where and how possible as a multiplayer for example PS Vita like the video Toyota GT-ONE without a second player when playing with two as a multiplayer with a player.
And where can it be found?
    Thank you.

It's not possible for Gran Turismo 2. It would only be possible for PS1 games which supported the link cable, which neither GT1 nor 2 were designed to do.

I still gonna pick the 1999 TOYOTA GT ONE LMGT1 from Maki Nishikino. The colour of the car also matched Maki Nishikino's favourite colour (Red). The 1998 GTONE also is great as it was the only one appearing in PlayStation 1 port of TEST DRIVE LE MANS.
