If I could speak to Devs about what would make Game better would be to show more love to the 6'10 and up builds. I don't want to be limited to slow jumpshots pull ups and dribble animations when realistically The KDs, and Wembys can cook up dribbling. Sure they don't have to have the same anklebreaking potential as a 6'6 guard with 92 handle bt if I invest time into a KD like build I wanna be able to not be limited

Yes!! Like you got paolo banchero dribbling like a guard. You also got bol bol at 7â3 doing moving spin moves and between the leg moves. You got victor coming down the court dribbling full court between two defenders. The nba is full of tall skillful players who can kinda handle the ball and shoot like a guard

2k needs to change animation requirements to attributes only because when they started height requirements is when it got weird

2. canât run out them combos & breakdown have to wait until they done

Main problem is NOT being able to run out combo/breakdowns whenever we want, right now you could cook somebody with the second dribble of your combo/breakdown still canât run out of it until itâs done
Then, when you do run out of it, itâs not a smooth attack like you really trying to get to a bucket, half the time it feel like you getting held back a lilđ€ŠđŸââïž

Pretty much this video is explained that Pro Play is BS, as you spoke about the 7â3 Centers moving like Wemby. Pro Play was explained to us that we would be able to gain NBA players style and sigs straight from the NBA footage so instead of 7â3 grinding their life away for a Trey Young sig why not just add Wemby animations since Pro Play is in the game, itâs videos all over CZcams of SF PF Centers workouts and in game footage of them moving like Guards and shooting like them as well. NBA 2k is gate keeping sigs and animations with this Seasonâs BS and it Stupid, their ideas is only about profit and not about a fun experience and this is why the games lifeâs span is going down hill slowly and Once GTA 6 comes out itâs pretty much over for NBA 2K so thatâs why I believe your pushing this Free to play narrative which I understand but all this extra stuff their doing is with the build system is never gonna satisfy consumers because we have lives outside of games and donât want to be a sweat just to get a basic sigs to have fun and be competitive smh đ€ŠđŸââïž Grinding Legend for a NBA player Sigs is the most stupidest thing ever.

To be honest itâs so much good games coming out Idc what 2k does next year might not even get the game
17 allowed you to get whatever animations you wanted but your attributes determined how effective they were in the game. I always wanted it to stay that way.
I promise you I have none of those animations you mentioned equipped đđ. I had to adjust every season to figure out what fit my build based on how they updated the game
just make the animation quickness related to ballhandle, if i make a build with 60 ball handle and i do a combo move, it should come off way slower than somebody with 99 ball handle
Shouldnât have to wait season to season or reach a certain rep just to unlock an animation. If I wanna make a Kyrie or Curry build I wanna be able to equip it now especially if I have the height and stat requirements to unlock them
All Iâll say Unc; itâs thatâs if we use KD. for example, how can we make a true LD build if we canât get all his dribble moves. Thatâs the only thing that doesnât make sense to me 9:23

2k should remove adrenaline bars out of 2k. And really think about it. 2k canât stop the titan two so 2k should take them out so it wonât fluctuate are shot timings so much. right? just to bring some kind of balancing bc itâs actually more cheaters then some of the community thinks. Bc to be honest itâs starting to look like 2k likes and supports the cheaters ngl. Why should are shot timings fluctuate if there are so many cheaters on the game and no matter the fluctuations it will never matter to cv scripts. And even if the titans and zens are banned on consoles they are still usable through remote play and even if there is a bit of delay it will never matter to a cv script it will always auto green. So I really think they should at least even the playing field by taking the bars out and stop the fluctuating of shot timings. Something like 20 or 21.
So just make it to where the more you use the animation styles they level up and the more they level up the faster or efficient/effective they are maybe even a mastery system where if the animations are similar then they will be put in or around the same class and as you increase the mastery you could change the animation to another in that class and youâll have the same mastery with it
Good idea animation rookie to hof based on usage but 2k will milk it or not do it as we would hope
We donât even need any animation for any build just all. Like for my 6â10 build on both past 2ks we ainât get nun good on any seasonđ meanwhile itâs hella animations in the core game that we canât even use.
Again, Locks will be OP and that will never change unfortunately

it was diverse and wasnât that limited, like this year 2k24 was is a terrible builder in my opinion
Micro transactions ruined 2k as a whole missed Mypoints System, 2K16 was the last to do that also with non similar names as a build
It was like this in 2K20 then it changed 2K21 and so on.
Great Idea Change the meta every season
I get what you saying, but the complaints gonna run rampant BEFORE ppl actually get to the point where they are more effective. Regardless how you package and tweak stuff the 2K cycle will be the same. Itâll take 2-3 months for ppl to figure out the new mechanics and concepts and ppl gonna complain asking for patches not even understanding how the game works. You canât fix the community. If anything, they probably just need to provide some better stats and transparency on how the animations work. Like for dribbling, maybe a move doesnât provide a lot of space but it stuns and gets more ankle breakers.
It has to be free to play I canât keep doing this with 2k
Only way that 7'3 can have Kyrie sigs would be if the animation speed takes longer, not just the effectiveness. If a 7'3 C and a 6'0 PG can get the same animation with the same animation speed, but 7'3 loses it half the time, it would be rough for the community.
Yeah thatâs why I said the effectiveness will be based off the ratings of the player but anybody can have any animation

Regardless of what direction we go in, we shouldn't be forced to play specific game modes in order to unlock anything. All i'm saying. As someone who only plays 5v5, I don't want to have to grind 2v2 or 1v1 in park in order to unlock things. Many quests, like the rep system in 2k24, have been park oriented and it's the worst.

Not mad at this. Don't like going backwards in terms of creativity but I get it.what do you mean by grind though? Is it winning games to unlock? Is it doing that animation over and over? The latter is azz, that would ruin the game. I'm not mad at games won, rewards time played and skill at the game. But that will increase "running". So idk but could be a good change of pace.

I like the idea of the unlocking animations however my concern would be more so along the lines of CORE gameplay mechanics. A 7 footer with a 99 3 ball dribbling behind screens and shooting âOver thoseâ is not what I wanna see. Tell us about the CONTEST SYSTEM, tell us how every build can be a viable option on the court whether youâre 6â0 or 7â3. I also wanna point out that youâre saying every season the META should change, IMO thatâs alarming. I donât want people to run to things because itâs Meta and automatically become better at the game because they have a meta âweaponâ thatâs a problem with COD. There isnât any Balance among play styles, and also there isnât much consistency. What 2k needs to go back to doing, is allowing players to be UNIQUE. I feel like 2k17 did a pretty good job that after multiple patches so like December the game was at its full potential. You knew a person had skill when they could shoot 3s with a pure slasher âWide Openâ shot selection mattered. Even well contested sharps missed if they didnât have good shot selection. I want to see balance not Meta per season. I want people to grind and become unique through these âTEMPLATE BUILDSâ. Bring back some nostalgia. Please đđŸ đ
