Some people call Wilco "Dad Rock", given the ads I think WIlco is now "Granddad Rock"

Woah, rare gig. Jeff right before rehab, shredding his anxiety on lead. Any embryonic 🥚 footage is incredible. Thank you. So grateful for this powerful period but oh so happy he pulled outta it.

The post-Jay, pre-Nels days are fascinating to me. I like seeing them do the YHF/GIB songs like this-a little more raw.

This handshake drugs performance makes me wish tweedy played more lead guitar live :/

Soundstage and similar PBS live music shows are about the only thing I miss from broadcast TV.

Nice version of Handshake Drugs, great band and songwriting leader.

At last - the full show! Believe that this is just before they started recorded A Ghost Is Born in late 2003. Such an interesting period: Mikael's in the band now and it's Leroy Bach's last shows with the group. This version of "Handshake Drugs" is phenomenal - what amazing guitar playing from Tweedy.

Jazz band keyboards and a classically trained percussionist, gotta love Wilco!

one of my favorite wilco lineups. Leroy is rocking this. Forgot how nicely his vocals blended live.

Shows just how much of a major influence they are on Wilco's sound. This almost sounds like a really damn good cover band.
