I’m seeing plenty of baitfish but very few predators chasing. The mackerel and gar are pretty much absent too. Slowest start to a season in years here in Plymouth mate. Well done for saving the blank though 👍😎🎣
Nice little video and bass, I think confidence in a lure is as important as lure choice. I have an extensive selection but tend to fish my favourite patterns. Hope you get into some larger specimens soon tight lines Brendan 🐟🐟
Arrive Guernsey week Sunday , got myself 3 x Patchinko II's as you recommended Brandon to give a go this year with the nipper , Be mainly fishing / spinning around fort doyle areas , but always fish with flaot and rag to keep the daughter entertained. Can't wait. Hey you caught a small Bass Brandon BUT you also caught some nice rays on your face. Happy fishing 🤩

Lures matter 100% especially at the moment when the bait is small. The presentation has to be correct. You are using massive lures when the bait is currently small. Just my thought. People are catching in guernsey so there are defiantly fish about
Sam yeah defo matters I tried small lures metals big lures I only used that bigger lure right at the end of the session there’s a few fish around but nothing like previous years in July 👍👍👌

I find slower retrieve more effective , and more working the lure . You wind in crazy speed to me 😂
Yeah it’s normally slower at night but quicker in the day works really well 👍👍🎣
