    Very nice selection of bayonets, in case you were wondering the I.C. mark on the pommel of your P1907 is a squadron identification code, in this case, 623 Squadron who flew the Short Stirling bomber from Downham Market in Norfolk.

    Maybe you should take a look at the swiss bayonets, they are very high quality and still at a reasonable price in Switzerland. And for sure take a look at a Modello Argentino, a lot were sold after decomission. Impressive collection.

    It looks like the quality droped along with the blade length through the years.

    The 1905 is the US bayonet in this video. It’s not a 1907. Model 1905 made by the Rock Island Arsenal in the quad cities of Illinois and Iowa. The Swedish bayonet is a model of 1896 not 1886. Nice collection as well.

    GD vid thx. Curious about the Swedish m96 Chinese copies. I've looked for an example for many years, have you ever come across one?

    Hey! I have a French Rosalie/Lebel bayonet and I was wondering if you knew how to figure out when it was made. If so, please tell

    • @theyorkshirebladesman9119
      @theyorkshirebladesman9119  Před 3 lety +1

      The way to figure out when it was made is to look at the features of the bayonet it’s self. If it has a nickel handle and a quillion then it’s an 1886-1916 example if it’s a brass handled one it’s after 1916

    • @Jack-nm7ve
      @Jack-nm7ve Před 3 lety

      Looks like mine was made after 1916, no surprise considering its shortened. Thanks for the help
