Great video Jack, I always like finding an excuse to plant up some more pots, especially with hyacinths! TFS.
Thank you for this video👍💖
Thanks Jack! that was very useful information.....
+chris665 Thanks for watching, I'm glad you found the video useful!!
Informative video, thanks.
Is it ok to plant the bulbs like you did with points out of the soil if you plant them outside or do you have to plant them deeper? really like your videos
Hi Jack, thanks for video. I bought some bulbs in Autumn but haven't planted them yet, would it be too late to do so now in Feb ?
How do you plant hyacinth plants-I never landed them before
A1 thanks 👍
Thanks for the video! I've bought some bulk that will be coming to me by last September. I was wondering, once I planted them in pots, should I keep them outside during the winter or take them in the house? I live in an area where it could get down to -15°c.
If it’s going to get that cold, I’d put them somewhere sheltered - it doesn’t necessarily have to be indoors but away from water, snow and frost for prolonged periods of time!
What kind of light do you give them if your growing them indoors. The bulbs I received look very similar to yours
How much do you water them?
Does it matter if the roots come out of the bottom because I read on Gardner’s world that for indoor ones you only need to plant on a 5cm layer of compost, which isn’t much space for them to send roots down.
Thanks for the video..I'm from India. don't know it will grow or not .
I have got a corm from my hyacinth can I grow from it jack
How often do you water them?
Hi Jack are these inside one,s or outside bulbs
+Susan Fryer These pots are going to stay outside, but you could absolutely bring them inside (just be careful of the drainage hole!). They will grow and flower, faster if inside where it's warm. -Jack
