Holy crap, I underestimated this website a lot when I first heard of it. You could actually make a banger videogame soundtrack with this, I especially like how easy it is to make harmonies, really good-sounding stuff for a free website.
Most people use this software for making chiptune music. It is, undeniably designed for it. But I make Rock songs. The distortion guitar instrument sounds a lot like a rock/metal guitar and ever since I found that out I've used it in practically all of my songs. To anyone who reads this comment, try using this instrument. Not a lot of people do it to my knowledge and it's pretty good.

I've never seen anyone use the drums like that before, this is just beautiful. Keep it up, this is my favorite song in the universe now.
Finally! Beepbox gets the respect it deserves! I couldn't have learned FM synthesis without it, and the interface is so natural and easy to use that being musical isn't difficult

I’m still pretty new to music making with beepbox (Jummbox to be specific) and I can tell you, this is a perfect example of easy to learn hard to master. You can make amazing things with beepbox, but it takes time to learn how to.
Late to the party in the comments... It looks like some music toy at first, but it's pretty close to being full featured as far as web-apps for music goes. Which is surprisingly good. Might be neat to see a re-visit with JummBox or UltraBox mods, while probing into their extra feature sets as part of the process. (Adds stuff like parameter automation by using modulation tracks. And I'd recommend two modulation tracks so one can be setup to repeat as an LFO and the other being unique throughout the score for various fades.) Also sometimes it's worth it to clone instruments/percussion across tracks so you can overlap envelopes, which can make some aspects of composition a little trickier. I suppose that quirk is inherent to the tracker-based aspect of the thing?
The song turned out amazing even if this was only your first time using beepbox! The only real complaint I have is that the melody could have been used a little more, I really liked the instruments and melody and it’s a shame that they were only used for the first half of the song, with the rest of it being basically glorified percussions. Still turned out incredible tough! Keep up the good work!

Ever since I bought a casio SK-1 back in the 80s I never saw anything as simple to make music (using one key play and being able to delete and replay notes) only now after decades some blessed soul explodes the world with a sound, intelligent software in the vibes of the old casio! BeepBox ftw! I highly praise the simple math perfect way of creating songs! this should have been the default way for all DAWS, but they have dumbly not gone that route!

I think the coolest thing about this website is that people who have little to no musical knowledge at all (like me) can just mess around and make some cool sounds and melodies.
quick tip: if you want to make a reverb sound that's actually authentic, duplicate that channel and put the same notes a little farther than the other ones
