phillys citys fire department is the master of the air horn i live in california hardly no of those beautiful catch the horns sounds like freedom my prayers go to the fire and ems and police dept around the world

9:10, 16:00 Ah the memories with Engine 36 and Ladder 20. I used to live around the corner and would record them and hear ever call they had. Since move out of philly and they got new units but those in the video will forever be in my memories. Thanks for the video!

Can someone tell me the make of that airhorn the one on the pumpers are different from the ladders...
If you're talking about the KMEs, they are Hadley 18 inch horns. The Spartan Engines have Hadley 21 inch horns. Hamilton Powell used to point that out and has a video of both if you'd like to watch it.

@@hackurva Bit of a trick question as truck air horns actually use compressed air from the air brake system. Even if you did want it you'd be carrying a heavy air tank. Those horns don't make noise by themselves
