    About how much would this crate engine break the bank and what trans is backing yours? I’m thinking about swapping one into my 2015 silverado but I’m torn between this or a 6.2

      Tilton St-246 clutch/flywheel assembly. The work done to the billet crank is the main reason it can rpm so fast. The counter weight portion is cut significantly shorter closer to the center of the crank and a lot of tungsten was added.

      Yes. The GM LSX-DR cylinder heads that are on these 454R engines can support up to 900hp Naturally aspirated. They are not typical LS heads however and will require a custom intake manifold, rocker assembly as well as specific exhaust port flanges.

      LMAO No way. That would require a seriously build engine. Over 13:1 and a real intake manifold (Hi-ram or custom) and everything else stellar to make anywhere close to 800.

      @@ctbcrf50 I have mine wrapped up in DEI Reflect-A-GOLD Heat Barriers 10392 Took some patience wrapping but so far its held up!

      Fore fuel system with a 450lph pump. Running parallel at the rails then to a regulator and a return line back to the fore hat.

      Abraham Sabagh This engine is the 454”R” not just the regular lsx454. The 454r has higher compression and different cylinder heads. Solid roller valvetrain, Currently there is no intake manifold made for this engine in our corvettes. The exhaust ports are different as well. Weight in the front is a little noticeable. My setup has a little bit less compression so I can run it on pump gas. No worries on the questions!

      American Racing Headers that are 2" primaries stepped to 2 1/8" and merging to a 3.5" collector, made my own 3.5" teardrop shaped x-pipe then stepped it down to 3". ...Out the back are gutted z06 mufflers that are true 3" through the cans to a 3" valve. Yes Sir @chomper427 🦅🇺🇸🦅
