Africa is the home of all black people. No matter what religion you follow. It’s good to see blacks from the diaspora speaking to each other in the land of their ancestors.
MikeG A so true 🥰🥰 Thank you😘
To the owner of a the resort, I am a business owner too, please don't wait for the Gambian government to fix the road to your place please fix the road and demand a 2 to 5 year tax break...African Governments are useless. We can no longer wait on them for development.
Omar Jabang
You’re right brother sometime people need to assis the government and you can negotiation after Matt but I guess also some ressort or loges owners would like to be isolated for example Makasotu lamin loge to promote eco friendly tourism and i think Africa shouldn’t copie exactly from western development model it has to be deferent
What hotel is it

Where is the resort at ?( location)... I'm planning a trip and it's beautiful!!! Can I get brochures sent to me in America!!

Hi BAG family, if you could send the information on that hotel, the name and if you can get the prices, that would be great. We are looking to come to The Gambia in April and again in August, so would like to check out the hotels. Love all the information that you are putting out there, for those of us who are planning on coming and maybe looking to retire. Keep up the good work and hopefully we will get to meet when we get there.
Blessings
Love that interview I know the Empress from London a beautiful humble Queen so refined and Elegant so patient and soft spoken I hope to see her in Brixton when she does her food shopping I have seen her at Rasta meetings too she even had time to ask the young princess they names age and opinions about they experiences in Africa a real wonderful caring soul she was a real Queen simple and natural people never is wrong with smoking The Herbs ?
OK this is all I do is watch you guys all day or night I’m going to take a break for one day that’s all I Gotta say
Your video was cut off when she told what she subscribed to @ 59:36. Can you update who she subscribed to and the resources that Sister Jackie used when traveling. Thank you beautiful people for all that you are showing and doing.
Air bnb started in California where an air mattress was rented overnight. Breakfast was usually offered with the bed hence the term air B and B: air bed and breakfast.
Love love love Jackie the Texan
Love this reasoning with these sistas 💕 Those Indian people in the background seems very rude slamming the door like that as if they were annoyed with ya'll presence...
we are gambians ,we love to see our africans brothers and sister back to the gambia ,if those indians are not happy for your presence in the gambia ,we dont want to see indian in the gambia ,they can go back to india ,
Love the vibrant colors they wear..just beautiful...
all this local fabrics about 95% of them are made by the Chinese which is cheaper than the local made ones.
the dashiki they are wearing all Hi target made by the Chinese.
in Ghana, printex, atl and gtp are the local manufactured cloths and the Kente too but they are expensive so people usually go for Hi Target which are made in China
and the Chinese copy the original design from the locals and make the same thing.
Good info. We need to encourage and educate the people of the diaspora how to identify and support local, traditional Gambian fabric makers.
@@JourneywithMAMAZURI-hb8nr thank you, I am American, how would we know what's fake. We were lied to!! About Africa... It was a plan, get it!! To separate us. Africa was dirty, with starving children. If our ancestors said anything nice about Africa death awaited you... Please try to understand. Language, culture, stolen!! And the men who come to America from Africa, Marry white women( not all). And they tell " Our" story!! Who is going to tell the truth when your fore father's robbed us!! Please people of Africa teach us!! We don't know!! We know something was missing, we knew we were " Empty", but thank God... We have been blessed to now find out truth... Oh my God look at that fabric!! That cloth is outstanding!! I'm mad!! I need that fabric😊😊😊😊 Oh my God, that's so me!!!! Colonization!! Destroyed us!!! I need that cloth😔😔😔😔😔
That has been going on for decades. Is there anything done about it?
@@yolandaliggins9000 We must travel and find out for ourselves! We must ask, seek and believe...we are taken advantage of at every turn...by everyone, including our own...the romanticism we hold for Africa traps us every time...There is heaven and hell when returning to the continent...We must learn to ask, "Who told you that?"( to quote Vicky Dillard). Question the source...and I say, consider the source... be cautious and do not give up...there are horror stories about returning to Africa that you would not beieve but believe...what happens to us when repatriaitng is all by design to keep us from returning to our rightful land...research well, keep watching the videos but go with your eyes open to get the truth for yourself! Each person's journey is their own. Some things will be easier, some more difficult and some will be similar. ex. The same land is sold to us 3 and 4 times over. Some workers will come to you very happy to help, saying they are masons, qualified surveyors and contractors, etc. and they have no skills at all. They gladly take your money and are never seen again. Even with paperwork, you have no recourse. Calling the police, complaining to "poper authorities gets you nowhere unless you pay them. Mind you, Continental Africans are treated the same way. Poverty causes people to act very desperate to survive...Lot to keep in mind...but Africa is our home, it is beautiful and we can have much success there...we can reclaim our own land and live as we deserve to. Speaking from first hand experience. Been seeing it first hand for myself since 1988...Ase...

Love you BAG Family.

What was the name of the tour company that helped with showing Gambia...AGA Organization...???
Absolutely love what you are doing. I have told my husband that we should come for a holiday with a view to moving out there. I just feel in light of the current situations going on all over the world the racism inequality I have had enough. My parents are from Jamaica and my husband is jamaican. I have an over whelming need to find where I truly belong and England is not it. And I would like to make contact with people from the diaspora who are living their best lives ever because they have transitioned and made that final journey home. ✊🏿
Beloved i feel every word that u just said....I am a Jamaican residing in the states for much too long.....As Marley said....we been trodding on a winepress much too long....I wish u much success in your journey.... back to that which u came from......
@@shawnd9896 Thank you for your kind words. ✊🏿🖤

What part of the Gambia is this? I am interested in moving there.
Gambia is a very beautiful country. This is why it is called the smiling coast of Africa. And they have very beautiful people
Great video. I understand Vaccinations are not necessarily good/healthy for our bodies. Did you guys have to take any required vaccinations before going to The Gambia? Any suggestions/recommendations regarding this?
Thx,
EACH TIME we wasn’t required but they suggested if I had to do again I would passed you don’t really need it 😍 Thank you
