I hand wash my cross stick in the sink with a bit of laundry detergent. Once it is clean I roll it up in a towel to get excess water out. Then just lay it flat to dry. I also iron them is wrinkles. Just usa a dish towel between iron and cross stitch

I wash a hand embroidery side table cloth my Mum made 75 years ago in the washing machine with gentle detergent and on a 30 degree celcus gentle wash. It is beautiful and doesn’t look its age.

Janice buy a bar of zote soap and spot clean it after you rub the spots with zote make a paste of baking soda and white vinegar. Use a soft tooth brush to help lift the stain. Then spot rinse with cold water and air dry. Hope that helps.

As i listen to my fav utubers im prepping scalloped potatoes and ham for dinner, prepped onions for the week, put two cookie sheets of frozen blackberries in freezer bags plum full, ive hung out 2 loads, got one more to go. Im pulling some leftover shredded chicken to build a meal for freeze drier. Next im prepping peppers also for freeze drier. Ive taken 9 lg mylar bags of onions we grew to the long term storage, along with 4 entree meals. No kids here, but my 15 yr old grandson stays with us sometimes so i have to plan weekend meals for him and my hubby as i pull 12s. Beautiful singing!!!! 😊😊thanks for sharing your day!!

I soak my cross stitch that needs cleaned in a Dawn dish soap solution.. Comes out beautifully

You can handwash your cross stitch piece in a sink of cold water and mild soap. Rinse really well, then roll in a towel and squish to press out most of the water. Then lay yyour work out on a clean towel to dry. Once dry, take the towel to your ironing board, place your dry piece face down on the towel, and press the back of your stitches. Use an up-down pressing motion with the iron, careful not to rub the iron on the back of your work so it doesn't stretch or distort. Your framer will block it when she frames it up and it will be beautiful! That's such a pretty design! Perfect for your sewing room! ♥
Reminds me of raising my children and so many families I know. A glimpse in the day in the life of many American families (for those who watch from big cities and foreign countries.)

First: Sarah: what a voice! Never, ever, ever be ashamed to use it: it's not showing off; you have a gift! Use it!!!
Second, Janice: my grand mother had a trick for smudges on cloth: try to sprinkle a bit of salt on it, then spritz with lukewarm water. Dab it dry ...It worked on my daughter's wedding dress which was wine stained right before her wedding.

the church arranged fun activities for the kids if summer holidays for kids ages 2 to 17 50 kids signed up and they had 2 field trips for july and my daughter saving the money from her job to put towards a class at our local college after grade 12
There is something called retro clean that is used to get the yellow out of old quilts you may look into it

Im an avid crosstitcher. I have soaked many finished pieces in warm water with a little bit of Dawn detergent. You can change the water several times if necessary. Dont usehot water, just warm and you should have no problems. Your stitching is beautiful.

Don’t use bleach been there done that it makes the spots white!! And the rest dull. I always take mine to the dry cleaners and they press it after it’s done being cleaned it always turns out beautiful. The cost is not to bad around $8:00 dollars I figure that after all the time I spend doing it, it’s worth it your beautiful work should be preserved so you can hand it down. Daughters you do beautiful work Janice you should be very proud. Great job, my friend Salt Lake City, Utah.

I really enjoy your life in a day videos....but it makes me tired just sitting here watching y'all!! But I remember my own days of childhood when it was the same. Good days and memories the children will all be thankful for one day. I love when Sarah sings....you need to show more . Do the rest of the children all sing - and you, Janice and Shawn? For the crossstitch maybe a Tide stick! It may be a little high for one but worth it for the picture you don't want to mess up!

We had a pint size Mason Jar fsll and shatter in a million pieces like that a few days ago! It took me days to find it all so shoes for all of us too for days. It was crazy how many pieces it broke into. I loved hearing Sarah sing. Such joyful kiddos. ❤

Hand wash them and lay flat to dry. Take a sheet of thin f o am and lay it front side down and spray starch iron it. Then you can use the foam sheet to back it when framing it. Cut it to fit under the writing when framing!❤

How is the orphan duck? My parents grew every fruit & vegetable you could in our area. If we asked for a snack they would say you have a whole garden out there, pick whatever you want! What a joy to see Rebecca dancing to big sister singing 💕
