MagicTTF I know, but the electric isn't all that similar to the acoustic. In this video he used tapping, some alternate picking, power chords and all that fancy shit.
You can't bet on something so obvious. His hundreds previous videos are all him playing acoustic guitar.
its different hes has been playing acoustic for a while and though electric and acoustic arent at all the same they are stilled played the same way and what I mean is that he had the fingers for it before he started playing electric so it was pretty natural to him all he needed is to get used to it.
Has he said this took him 2 months to learn? I learned much of this song in my teens in about a week. I couldn't do the sweeps and the power chords on A were tough because skill issue but the rest of the song is quite easy. Everything past 12 on the fretboard is basically master of puppets and the play around 6-10 is similar to cliffs of dover

Damn, I remember the time when this video was like posted 2 years ago, and now I come back and see it's been 8 years already, and I can just imagine the first time I played guitar and tried to learn this but failed and forget this video, and just now seeing this again I just realized how huge my improvement was on the guitar since the last time I watched this, now I can just learn this song by ear and I'm surprised of how I played it without any tabs, very huge improvement, and guitar changed my life, and just keep practicing, this feeling that I'm feeling now is the best feeling ever, and for all the starting guitarists out there just keep doing it cause you'll never know.

Sungha jung has mastered it completely. It's like the guitar and the composition is part of his body. His absolute flawless performance and casual expressions are what makes him a guitar prodigy.

Johann Pachebel is the Composer of this instrument. He made this instrument in 17th century.
Imsw Dede op meant the arrangement in the electric guitar. johann pachebel was the original composer and canon rock in D was played originally in piano, so jerry c. had to re-arrange the whole piece to be played on guitars :)

This song gave me so many emotions.
I started to learn violin when I was 8 years old and this was the song that I favourited the most at that time.
I made friend with a girl in my class, we love the original Canon in D and we would play this song on violins as duels.
Our friendship grows and we got into a relationship when I was at 9 years old.
We eventually broke up as we entered the middle school since we are far away with each other, and there's nothing we can do about it.
But I will always remember her as this song started to play at any places.
Seeing this song being interpreted as a rock music piece made me so happy. This version is short, but every bit of it has its own feelings.
From the beginning you can hear its slow but passionate notes, just as how your first love grows, slow but passionate.
And from the middle you will notice how the pace has changed from slow to fast picking, just like you in your first love,
you can feel that your heartbeat increases as you see that girl in the morning when you entered the class.
And in the end the music slowly turns back to normal pace and eventually fades away, reminds me how our love fades as we grew up and slowly, the distance between us started to increase and finally we had to end our relationship.
As time goes by, we will grow, and we will change.
But the passions and memories that we used to have will always be in our hearts, and it will give you energies to move on, to reminds you that life is short, so don't hesitate to tell your crush that you loved her.
Because the musics is just like lives... ... It can be anything from a short single note, to a long piece of arrangements. But the most important thing is that you have to cease the chances you had while you still young.
