Nixon Tapes India: In May 2020, the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in United States declassified unbleeped audio tapes of former US President Richard Nixon and his National Security Adviser Henry Kissinger. These new audio tapes are part of White House tapes declassified by the US State Department previously. A Princeton University professor, Gary J. Bass, wrote a column on these Nixon tapes in New York Times on September 3. From that day on, Nixon's racist and misogynistic views on India and Indian women are back in news. In the recently released unbleeped audio tapes, Nixon is calling Indian women the most unattractive women in the world. Nixon also said that Indians are sexless and pathetic. Nixon's offending comments on India and Indians once again highlighted the fact that his policy towards South Asia (especially towards India) was guided by his hatred of Indians. Nixon's bigotry and his racist views blinded him so much that his administration supported the military dictatorship in Pakistan who was busy butchering East Pakistanis in 1971. I was surprised to find Canada as a non member. So I looked up. In fact Canada partners with Interpol through RCMP and NCB, two of it's law enforcement agencies. Also Canada is shown as a member on Interpol's website.
