Your right, Loudella is at First church now and has been for the last 7 years. she i the Minister of Music emeritus. We love having her with us. I am the choir director for the choir at First church. I've always dreamed of dircing the choir with Mama Lou, never would have dreamed that she would be directing the choir at F.c.d.
Hey!! Yes, it is a small world. I love a lot of the old, traditional music. First Church of Deliverance had an awesome sound. Even when the Golden Age of Gospel "disbanded," they kept that ol' school sound for many years after. They sound a bit different now, but I am so thankful for recordings like this one.

Is the newer sound more of smooth progressions and no more old repertoire?
It was good to hear the old FCD choir...they had a sound and spirit that can never been matched....
