Great video, I recently have had a lot of fun with shorts and wanted to try Aitum. I like the vertical layout however when trying to use saved backtrack clips, it uploads as a regular video, any tips? Thanks
can you go over the boxes so I have the two sources camera and capture card even with transform they are on top of each other. I get gray bars and a black box and it will only allow one item inside this random black box it doesn't matter how far i stretch the corners and transform it is always the same what am I doing wrong. Same happens to my main display when I try and move it over to fit the vertical

My goal is to have the following solution: I can stream to multiple platforms, Twitch VOD track to Twitch; Having the same Twitch VOD to CZcams & Facebook (so I wouldn't be copyrighted), and vertical output to TikTok with music. What is the best way to achieve it? I saw the other video that allows to stream to multiple platforms, but not sure how to do that all together. I have a restream subscription, so hope utilizing it as well (so maybe it can be used as rtmp source to stream multiple platforms that expect the same output, to avoid setting up 5 different outputs for each social)
Sorry kind of random but I am having an issue with my webcam in OBS and was hoping you might know what is going on. So on TwitchStudios and my Windows Camera app my webcam is just fine, however in OBS my webcam is split/mirrored and is very blurry. So it shows my webcam, and the webcam box is split in half vertically giving my webcam 2 boxes: 1 of the left and one on the right and they are exact copies of each other; essentially showing my webcam twice. I have tried playing around in OBS but cannot find anything to fix this. If it helps, I am using my PS5 camera by using the Orbis EyeLoader Drivers to make it work on windows.

Yes, however they released an update where you can pick encoder and file format for what you like your vertical clips to use. Sorry for the late response.
They updated the plugin so you can use your setting from default or customize them for the plugin. That will allow you to use 2 different encoder if you want too.

You can record either or both at the same time, your vertical video and horizontal video get different setting for recording and streaming. So you can set up a stream on Twitch or CZcams with horizontal video and stream on TikTok with vertical video at the sametime since you can get different settings for both. This plug-in is amazing once you get all setup.
You can set a hotkey on stream deck and then set the same key in vertical settings. Then when you hit that key, it will clip your gameplay. That's how I have it set up right now and works wonders
I don't see the option to save multiple clips using backtrack. Everytime I use the function, it just overwrites the previous clip, unlike the OBS recording options. Any ideas?
It might due to a bug. I don't have that problem when clipping things, I would recommend reporting it to the aitum discord server. There's been a lot of bugs found since it's release so they been busy fixing them.
Yo! I've tried recording with this while streaming and recording my normal canvas using nvenc, but it causes insane render and encoding lag. But If I set my normal stream to x264 instead of nvenc, everything is fine? Anyone else having this issue? Good video though dude!
You can only do one at a time. However, you can change the setting in OBS for the default canvas in video to 1080x1920 for base resolution and output resolution. That way you have 2 vertical videos for both platforms to stream with.
It still had some bugs since it was just released, if you are a problem like that I recommend reporting to autumn discord server and uninstall the plugin until they patch it.
Hello, I moved my vertical preview to be on its own window, but the next time i opened OBS, the preview is gone and idk how to get it back. I have tried uniinstalling and reinstalling obs and vertical :(
Thx man. Depending how long you want to backtrack then it will take some more ram or less. If you stream and game on the same pc then I would recommend 32gb of ram. However, if you have a duel pc setup with a streaming then 16gb should be fine. I have 32gb since I want to be safe when I work on projects.
There's been a lot of bugs found since it's release. The aitum devs are looking to fix them within the following weeks. All I can recommend is report it to their discord server.
If your using duel pc setup just make your pc that is your streaming/recording pc has obs version 29 then install it. You just have to set it up from there. That what I did for my duel pc setup.

It's is mostly likely due to a bug with the plugin. There's been a lot of bugs that have been discovered since its release so I wouldn't be surprised.

it disappears but you can go to docks and you will see your vertical screen there is just uncheck marked itself, but recheck it and you should be good
