What they need is an adventure truck box on the back, then as they go round the course someone has to prepare a meal, extra points for best presented meal and cleanest chef.
The suspension is tough on these trucks that’s for sure.

I wish beyond foolish to see this stuff live.
All of my favorite sports involve the burning of fossil fuels.
But, these truck trials are by far, my favorite video passtime.
I love going fishing and virtually any outdoor activities, personally.
But, I would definitely, if cash was no object, consider a holiday touring with these trucks, across the globe there.

Észrevettem,hogy a nyugati országok Truck versenyein nem füstölhetnek a teherautók,miközben a Szlovák,meg Cseh versenyekről nincsennek kitiltva azok a főleg Tatrák,amík úgy füstölnek,hogy pár másodpercig a Tatrát alig látod! I still want to know why they don't use traction chains on all 8 tires? If the idea is to test what the limits of the vehicles are, rather than purely clear obstacles and finish segments, they should be equipped with chains IMO.
how is the steering going to work?
They were probably limited to a small course without any seriously difficult obstacles, so chains would have made it boring / too even.
You don't get the sense of truck trial, I guess

I love seeing them truck but i hate seeing the smoke polluting the earth just for few minutes of fun.
compared to a carnival cruise ship entertaining a city of morons or even one airplane taking a few hundred people to france this is nothing. stop worrying.

Is it me or there are some 2-strokes diesel in those trucks? Don't wanna say Detroit because its Europe but they do sound like two strokes!!
They are 4 stroke air cooled v8s, 10s and 12s
The Benz seems to have a better approach angle than the Tatra......

what are these types of trucks? and the dakar type trucks? do not see these in usa, maybe military trucks?
with all of these hill climbers i see a common issue tire traction? can you copy the ice racers and get tires that have a steel spike system , maybe 1X1X 3 inch spikes pointed in some kind of a pattern that will dig into the ground or hill! stop using mud tires for hill climbing i hate it?

Tatra T813 has as far as I know. And it happens often that those T813 KOLOS (8x8) trucks you see on truck trials have been bought from the Army sale.
