- Hi everyone, this is Anmao, the director of this video. I hope you enjoyed the video. This time, we have put a lot of effort into every aspect of this work, from background music and vocal editing to video graphics and post-production effects. This work took on the editing idea of using vocals combined with graphics from my previous work, “Vast Sky”, and we have created an original storyboard as well as new original music to form the final video, which was challenging in every aspect.
For the theme, we have chosen to create a more historical and epic style, which I was most comfortable with when creating as a Mader. We also tried to boldly include so many different characters and their stories in one single video and create some new stories for them, which greatly satisfied our ambition for creation. I’d like to thank everyone who participated in making this video. Their fascinating artwork and music were fantastic, and I could feel the efforts and passion of everyone. Again, I hope everyone can enjoy watching this video, and hopefully, it can leave an impression on you.
For the title “Flickering Dust”, I wish to deliver a sense of “light of hope on the dust and earth” or “the light that has faded away”. I hope their stories can be remembered. It is with their legendary stories can I portray their past glorious stories that have been long gone.
I’d like to specially thank Qijiu (柒玖) for the great music work and the time we spent working together on communicating details. I want to name this music “Everlasting” and hope together, we can bring everyone more exciting stories in the “Everlasting Flickering Dust”.

I noticed upon closer inspection of its far off 3d model in game that its not actually Celestia, but rather the temple we fought the Unknown God at the beginning of the game. It shares some of the same pillars and architecture as that temple.

Made me realize that the MHY slogan “this world is beautiful” doesn’t mean beauty is already there, but it means that because of people of each nation working together to defend themselves and live out the ages, it has became a beautiful world. We already know pretty much all we need to know about the two. It's very obvious that they both were basically lovers to be, but in a time where it could not blossom. It would be nice to see more about Guizhong herself though.

I feel like these fan animations show off the world of Genshin more than the actual game does.
I'm not saying the game is bad, but we have *A LOT* of backstory and lore from every region which we never get to see because most of it is hidden in item descriptions, NPC dialogue (which I mostly skip over, since it takes so long), or limited-time events like "Shadows Amidst Snowstorms", or "Summertime Odyssey".
These fan animations take those lore bits which usually take hours to read, and turn them into short animations like this. Which is what Hoyoverse SHOULD be doing if they want their playerbase to be fully *immersed* in the world that they created, because sometimes I forget just how serious the lore is when Paimon starts talking about wanting to eat food every story quest.
Well these are the scenes that happened in past, it is the story of past. And from great sacrifices of others our characters moved on and living their life. And main thing is that we also started our journey in peaceful times in tevyat. But don't worry as nahida said everything in this world runs in loop and that's for you to find out unfolding the past events of tevyat, so very soon we might see these events happening in tevyat because of Tsaritsa and harbingers plan to bring back the old world back.
Moreover. We might get a anime started from Archon War! Let’s hope they’re doing prequel first
