    Sometimes I varnish my paintings and other times I don’t. It depends on the effect I want. Varnishes today don’t tend to yellow as much.

    My monet paintings don't have a varnish on them now my afred sisly or my Dali s or my evard munch painting as these pictures are done in gouch or a oil gouch mix. My first Claude Monet painting iz the Water colour of San Giorgio of magory @ dusk in 1908

    Like framing, I let it up to the people who purchase the art choose what they want to do with it.

    I hate varnish because it changes the way the paint looks.
