39th really suffers from it having lost all the BMP-2s (Lmao at BMP-1's) it could have had, the BMP-3's, and the recon tab being nerfed a tad really. It doesn't help that T-80B's have the same availability and similar price to BV's. It went from being the most well balanced to the most mid.

Dragon 2’s being at the exact right pen to kill BMP1 & BMP2 just hampers the USSR bg’s so much
Especially if they already lost the majority of their BMP-2’s, they don’t even have an ATGM that can fight back against NATO IFV’s

its not that it was well balanced before, it was just the everything deck for a meta built around printing BVs every single tick. I'd argue it's always been quite a boring deck, with the only real choice back when it was meta being whether or not you helo rushed in the opener.
If it was a US infantry deck like 8th against 35y, 8th would win each time just on inf squad sizes, fire capacity and cost (35y desants are weak and overpriced). That 39th is a Sov infantry deck (ie 7 man squads), it naturally trades poorly in towns against 35y. Eugen should just seriously do something to make the deck feel unique again, there's just no point to pick it when 27th or 4th mot exist.

39th just feels like it has no real strengths in comparison to other pact divs… just feels average at everything

39th is the only div that gives you helos/t-80s/long range AA/infantry all at once. 1v1 ranked is too designed around rush decks so slower decks like the 39th almost have no chance.

Yeah I gotta learn to play it better as well. Going into an inf grind fight without support weapons and/or arty was a terrible idea haha

Every deck feels average. Availability is crap. Income ratios are crap. Cost ratios are crap. WARNO, especially in Vanilla, still feels pretty meh. There isn't a deck I trust to be competitive with. Every patch makes one or two decks more OP than the rest. This game is a mess. Can't play it without mods that make it make more sense.

I’ll make a tierlist. There’s definitely some divisions that over perform and under perform but for the most part I think all divisions are playable in 1v1 atleast
