The whole concept of taxation needs reform, not just the UK either. People should have more transparency and proprietorship into where there tax money actually goes. We pay our dues as taxes, but are immediately disenfranchised from how the governments even spends it.
Home Office figures showed that the annual asylum cost reached £3.96billion in the up to 2023, double that of the previous year and six times higher than that of 2018. UK also pledged £12.5billion in support to Ukraine since February 2022. Those deals should elective tax allocations, if you want your money to go there then opt-in, otherwise keep the money out. Social Security should've been elective as well, UK spending £315.8billion from 2024-2025 in social security, and now it's one of the stickiest systems to even think of getting out of. With declining fertility rates in the UK, social security recipients will recieve far less or if anything at all and most likely won't even get back the money they spent their whole lives contributing. That's why they want to raise the minimum age for SS to 71, basically the government hoping you die before they give you anything back.

In UK feels like its some war times. Everything sold out and investors milked the country till the last drop, with government blessing. Living quality in UK is just low. Get salary and give 70% for bills, food quality is dropping every day also, a lot of things have tons of fillers in. Im making plans to move abroad also.

Born in the Uk but my parents came here in the 60s, i had a brilliant childhood in the 70s/80s, although the mix of people in the uk has been good ie different cuisine's, asians opening shops till late to cater needs, it has gone downhill regards standard of living, especially in poor areas,. I have family In India still, USA, canada and Malaysia and every country has issues. having travelled a lot I like the lifestyle of Italy and Spain as there seems to be a more family culture there and the lifestyle is better, especially how you want to bring up your kids. Malaysia is ok but one of my cousins went to Canada due to the religious ways of the country. i love Dubai have been going for 20 years, but would not live there due to the weather, no citizenship, it has got expensive there also, used to be way cheaper, food and clothes prices are more than the Uk, it is safer but those of us who know what is happening in these current times know these problems will be world wide
For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.

Hi Kevin, I've been watching you since your video with Tuomas. Although I'm not at the level to move to Dubai yet, I've been wondering whether or not the process moving there would be as simple for someone with a passport from 3rd world country. I have a DR Congo passeport for example, it doesn't have access to many countries, would that be an issue?

Every political camp is unhappy right now including the tory voters. Wealthy brits moving away is a fact. Taxes has NEVER been this high since world war 2. And that's under a conservative government. Our personal or political feelings about the existence of wealthy people is completely immaterial because the last thing any country should want is the wealthy leaving because they are the ones creating the jobs as well as pay the lions share of the taxes. In short, sadly, the UK is in a shit state right now, and the reasons for that are many.
My only small correction on this video is that the proposed mandatory military service is so far just a (tory) proposal. Whether it gains the support needed for implementation is yet to be seen. (personally i doubt it)
    Otherwise great video!
