There is literally nothing to suggest Rashford could be any good next season. Rashford has had all the time in the world to prove himself as a consistent footballer and has failed. Time is up.
Scored 30 goals last season, and the only difference between this season and last season is that hes not scoring as often. He's still a very good player and has been playing good, anyone with 2 eyes and a working brain can see that.

Would McTominay start every week for West Ham? Not getting in front of Kudus or Paqueta, he can't play deeper, and he's not getting in infant of Alvarez, so really not sure where he fits.

Realistically speaking the selling of the players mentioned should occur by the middle of July so that the manager can work with players that he wants. The same goes for incomings as getting 75% of players you want by then is key. Unfortunately, United haven't acted decisively in the market for nearly two decades.
Remember that the likes of Berrarda and Wilcox dont start working until the week of July. Brailsford signed players like Barkley Ramsey Pépé and Schmeichel at Nice. Lastly, keep in mind the homegrown quota and that no matter who they sign or sell, they will never be able to satisfy every single fan or CZcamsr .

Rashford should go. If you're going to build the team around Hojlund (which you should) you need wingers who can provide assists. Garnacho is already pretty bad at doing this, but he is young and can improve. Rashford is meant to be at the peak of his powers. He's literally a one-trick pace pony with a poor first touch and no vision.

He saved us once against Brentford. Apart from that he’s been fucking awful. He hides in games, he cannot make simple passes, he cannot retain possesion. McTominay is carried through games and just watching Kobbie Mainoo shows how limited McTominay is. Everton is a perfect club for McTominay, not Manchester United.

MY opinion on who we should keep and who we should get rid of. obviously not going to be able to sell and replace them all but assuming we had an unlimited budget i would...
SELL: Rashford. Casemiro. Maguire. Lindlelof. Antony.
I was of the opinion that we sell rashford before ETH even came in. He had an amazing run last season but has been pretty terrible since. Think a new club might help him mentally and we could probably get a good price.
Casemiro purely because i'd rather we get a younger replacement that can play the same role. Look at city without Rodri. We need an experienced boss running the midfield. Casemiro is getting there in terms of the end of his career at the level the premier league is played at.
Maguire. He has redeemed himself but still not good enough. Doesnt suit our style of play. Lindelof as well because i think our defence needs an overhaul. Varane and Martinez last year were an elite cb combo and i would keep them if i possible but could do with another CB that can plug in to the same level. Respect to Lindelof and Maguire for doign a job but think we could upgrade in this area. Get another LB and another elite CB. Im personally happy with AWB and Dalot. AWB is literally world class in terms of 1v1 defending. I think he gives the manager an option and can be played on the left when needed. And Dalot is consistent. Not world class but i think he's good enough to be in a team winning trophies.
Hojlund, Mainoo and Garnacho are the future. I also think Onana has creeped into underrated territory. Champions league was a disaster for him for sure but in the league, he has been great for us.
Burno, i get why people have been saying get rid of him lately but i think that's too reactionary. man is literally a superhero in terms of never being out injured but think he might have tunnel vision, which would explain why some games all he does is spam long balls. Hope ETH swaps him out for Mount when he is back. but i would still keep him.
I know we have been linked to other strikers and i get why we need to since we only have 1 right now but i really wouldnt want us to blow our budget on another striker. I think if we can get our defence and midfield shorted, then Hojlund is going to be a beast in front of goal.
I have no idea who we would replace Rashford with. Maybe keep him another season and focus on other areas? FPP is clearly going to limit how many players we can realistically replace. Thank god it's not up to me.
One last thing, is it possible for us to even sell Antony? Cant see anyone buying him or putting him on wages anywhere close to what he is being paid by us at the moment. I think he is awful. Not his fault we massively overspend but i still wouldnt want him in the team if we bought him for 20 million. Unironically though, Antony has been a big game player for us lol. Would keep Mctominay for his super sub magic. But only if he never starts for us.
The problem with Antony is, that you will get so little for him. Loaning him out or trying him another season would be better imo. Not that i really believe in him. He is a decent player, when he has confidence, but 100M was always way too much. Even 45M is pushing it. His not nearly playing as good as he can tho.
