I am kind of interested in seeing this. When American studios/channels remake shows from the UK or other countries, the only reason they do well is when they can take the source material and do their own thing with it. Being Human US was successful because the stuck with the tag line of the series and then built their own mythology for their show. Were things similar or certain story lines the same, of course but they made new characters and new storylines. I understand that things will be changed because some things just won't translate between the American and Russian audiences (not shade at all!) but I really am interested in seeing where the show goes. What is the this Russian titles translated to in english? I want to see if there will be episodes with english subs online.

unfortunately, Russian have always been able to shame our cinema. this is not the first series that we stole from foreign citizens and the problem is that our actors and Directors are 100 percent sure that this idea will be very successful and everyone will watch it. they do not consider only one thing: few people are interested substandard plagiarism.
many Russians are against the idea, but no one listens to ordinary people, because our TV channels need to show something, if they haven't got their own imagination.
p.s. I'm from Russia and I feel so shame of my country sometimes.
