THE WNBA doesn't want Caitlin (therefore also The Fever) to win. This needs to be deeply looked into, if I am wrong so be it, but they need to look into it nevertheless.
FEVER fans. Great things sometimes take time. Listen: it takes time. Some GOATS in the NBA (and other sports) have needed not only one or two seasons, but sometimes quite a few SEASONS to have winning seasons. Be patient, Caitlin will be on fire eventually, but the WNBA needs looking into by legal teams/inspectors/etc.

Clark is getting double teamed and fouled with little to no calls. There was a post the other day comparing Clark and Reese’s comments on fouling…criticizing Clark (complaining about no calls) applauding Reese (I expect them to play me hard). Reese was fouled 3x by the same player with the 3rd time upgraded to a flagrant 2 and the player ejected. I guess I wouldn’t be complaining either.
Play boston and schmidt high and low and set picks for clark. Indiana players playing hard but are frustrated with losing of course.
The problem I see is that the person setting the pick is not setting an effective pick and Cc is not running off the pick at the right angle to get her defensive player to run into the pick. Cc is not cutting hard toward the pick but instead is cutting wide and that’s allowing her defender to keep defending her. Coach needs to fix their picks on offense.

No one besides Clark is looking for back door cuts to the basket. There needs to be some connection if they want to run back door cuts and they’re not looking for the off ball cut player.

Here is what I seeing with this team.
It doesn’t look their offense has any purpose and when the players do get open uncontested shots, they miss them ( they don’t have any pure shooters). Cc’ s shot is always contested but her teammates are getting wide open shots and can’t make them. The team needs to learn how to set better screens for Caitlin to get open uncontested shots.
Mitchel can’t finish at the rim to save her life and is always forcing it or she just outright misses the layup. Boston needs to snatch those rebounds down quicker so that the opposing team can’t steal it because she is not protecting the ball well.
Caitlin played well but still needs to clean up her passing and takes too many risks in her passing which is leading to turnovers.
Caitlin needs to learn some more moves to break some ankles. She can go left or right but needs some better fakes incorporated into her one on one moves.
In summary the team needs to improve their picks and pick and rolls, improve their 3 pt shooting, and finish at the rim better.
As far as on defense, they need to defend better when the opposing team is setting picks.
Great breakdown I definitely agree cc should work on her handling because everyone knows she goes left,right into her shot. She needs a mid range/ floater to keep the defense honest.

To my girls on Fever, do not lose heart! I have a lot to say, but iy will probably never reach the team, but all I am saying is.you all have such great potential, some are doing quite well already. I see specific ways that many can improve, but the Fever has potential to match any team, even without CC having a full or mostly played game. I believe in you girls, come on!
