What did John Lynch give up for Trey Lance? I believe 3 first rounds over several years. So anything is possible. With that said, I wouldn't and get MHJr.

A little bit of history lesson here. Minnesota gave up a bundle to Jimmy Johnson's Cowboys in the late '80s for the service of Hershel Walker. It turns out that the Cowboys got so much more for one player. Some people called it a highway robbery. BUT, it was FINE by Minnesota. They were willing to go for the trade. They didn't think that they were being swindled. It was a mutually agreed upon decision. No victim there at the time of the trade. The Cards can and should demand whatever Minnesota is willing to give up for the 4th overall pick.
if you remmeber mike lynn got canned not long after that trade and the cowboys stuck with their high picks they took emmitt smith in the firsr round they didn't trade down when they had a chance to draft Aikman. i say stick and pick you don't build a winner with mediocre players who aren't very good and a bunch of glorified bench warmers. if monti does trade down again i will be done with the cardinals because even tough i've never been a fair weathered fan but i'm tired of rebuilds and losing and monti is setting us up to keep losing with his foolish trade downs.
here's some history for you in 2011 the browns had the 6th overall pick and traded all the down with the falcons for the 27th overall pick and a bunch of other draft picks and how did that work out for them considering that a few years later they had a two year stretch where they won a whopping 1 game. trading down especially way down like monti always does never works out for the team that is trading down. i say stick and pick get the best player in the draft and at least try to build a winner instead of copying the browns and going 1-31 over two years. can you say idiotic.

It turns out to be the worst move for them, though they made it to the Super Bowl with Mr. Irrelevant a few years later. The point is: the hind sight is always 20-20. Some moves work well while others turn out horribly. Predicting the future isn't very easy, is it? Predicting how college QBs will turn out in the NFL a few years later is probably the most difficult thing to do in sports.
well i applaud you for your memory and your right they made a mistake trading up for Lance but tell me how many times did trading down work for out well for the team that traded down constantly not many look at the browns in 2011 they traded number 6 overall to atlanta for a supposed haul of picks the falcons ended up going to the superbowl a few years later while the browns ended up going 1-31 in a two year span. just a few years later and i'm afraid that monti is going to end up doing that to the cardinals. you don't build a winning team with all mediocre talent you build a very bad to mediocre team.
Regardless of what side youre leaning towards, everyone has to acknowledge Monti cerebral ability to mastermind draft situations. In monti we trust till further notice!

We don’t necessarily in my opinion. They said what, I’ve been saying. Most people aren’t even looking at it. Now the cats out the bag of what’s it’s gonna cost. All everyone has to is wait for us to draft for Harrison and do business with the chargers. They already know who we are targeting anyway. Chargers probably would take those two picks and a pick in the later rounds. They don’t necessarily need a super huge asset.

Reastically every pick has the possibility to be a bust no matter how much of a "sure thing," a player is. I think it's best to get more 1st round picks and hopefully get 2 or 3 really good pieces
