Once we’d decided to include New Orleans on our road trip adventure, we knew that we needed to spend at least 3 days there. Partly so that we could absorb the amazing city, but also so that we could head out to a Bayou and see some Gators! Our last day in New Orleans started with a morning boat trip down the Bayou, where we saw hundreds of alligators - baby ones and BIG ones! We had an awesome local as our tour guide who really reminded me of Robert Duvall. But going down the Bayou was a really special experience - and was the inspiration for track 13 on my album Landscapes, which is out now.
