I bought the dot cross planner in Dec and used it for....maybe a couple of days lol. Note: that's from my ADHD not a failure of the system :) Regardless, it wasn't til today I even realized that there were cross marks on the pages for centering things lol
The dot cross could be exactly what i am looking for. I love that there's just a skosh of structure and lots of blank space around it. Of course, there's a part of e that wants a more typical weekly planner on a coil binding that can hold all of the stickers. Decisions, decisions...
Yeeeeeeeees! Been waiting for this, I'm eyeing 👀 the Dotcross Planner for my 2023 work BuJo. It has all the elements I need, I'll just have to wait for someone to test the paper for fountain pens. 🖋️
I have a STM for home/personal journaling and use a Productive Weeks for work. I LOVE this thing. It's short and sweet and does exactly what I need. The binding on mine though is on the short side, so the printed week is on the left and the right is dot grid. I'm not sure how I'd like the binding on the long side. With mine I can open it all the way and easily write on either side. Seems like you'd have to flip it over all the time with it across the top?
that's exactly what something like this is for! I know there are some like the Amanda Rach Lee planner that also does like the doodling, but this is more my speed.
If they made this with horizontal weeks and a facing notes page (a la Hobonichi Weeks) I'd be all over it. I also wish the months had 8 columns of blocks so you could choose your setup-I like my months to have three days on the left page and four on the right.
I used their productive weeks for a year and really liked it I had to draw my own Sat & Sunday in on the notes page which was a pain and I wish they did the whole week. Mine opened the other way, on the side which I prefered.
OMG yes!!😍😍 Thank you for the review. I think I’ve found my planner peace. That’s perfect. It has everything. Other planners overwhelm me, but the simplicity of that one is perfect. I need that in my life 💕 and that pink with the mint is soooo my color.
The productive weeks seems like a perfect thing for you if you switched the Friday to Sunday! I kind of love it! I am really interested in keeping work separate from personal too.
Oh I love the dot cross planner. I don't like stickers so I always use a Bujo and this is great as it takes the heavy lifting out of the month planning. I also would much prefer a horizontal weeks layout but could probably make this work in B6 size. Thanks for doing this review :)
The Productive Week is very intriguing, but I already spent a bunch of money on a custom Agendio for my work "planner." (It's more of a productivity aid during the week.) I started with EC's weekly pad, which was great until I wanted to add prioritization and a scratch pad for notes. So I went to the Agendio. That's been fine, but it's expensive. I might try the PW next year...
Can you please do video on how to use the divided guide STM has provided. I just bought this and I can’t find anything on CZcams about how to use it. Thank you
I just gotta say, I LOVE your nails!!! I had to watch the entire video again just to see the review 🤦🏼♀️ beautiful color!!! Love it!!!
The typo in the productive weeks cover would drive me bananas. The bujo/planner combo is really interesting! Might have to dig into that a bit more.
I like it more than the original version which was a little too structured for what I wanted out of it!
This is my Bujo and I absolutely love it!! I’m using the same one next year and I’ve covered up 2021/22 with white sticker labels.
i love it!

ADHD does make it hard to keep to a routine. I'm hoping if I get this that it will help me keep with my bujo a little easier.

I love that they totally owned that printing mistake on the box! Made me chuckle so much.

They must have changed the design, because mine also has the binding on the shorter side.
Waaannttt. Having to draw the months and weeks has been a barrier to using a BuJo for me. This might just work!

I love the weeks layout - I totally agree!

weeks are more than M-F right??
I literally just got this in black last week! Pretty good so far!
I'm so glad you're loving it!
Oh my wow….I love the weekly planner. I would totally use this at work…when I get back that is.

This would be great for meal planning actually
The 2024 version: A5 has days of week doen left. B5 has this layout (days across top).

Just purchased the dot cross for next school year!
Thanks for this review. I think the dot cross planner may be my bujo for next year.
Fun fact: kaizen is my word of the year!
that's super cool!

Happy That Sucks Day!:) Today, Apr 15th.
I am using a STM A5 this year, I would 100% get this if the weeks were horizontal.
I suppose there's nothing stopping you from turning the notebook sideways! haha. I'm thinking of doing this as I set up for next year.
For the dated ones you can choose a horizontal week.
The productive weeks planner would be a good college planner I think.
I got productive weeks and hate it! Tried using it but I'm not a fan at all :(
Really like the idea of the dot cross, but being a sticker addict, I feel like the bound planner life is not for me. Ah well.
Always enjoy your honest take on new products. 💙🪴💛
Three minutes in and I don’t like how the productive weeks is laid out.
I almost didn’t like this video because they were at 69, hehe 😜
hahahahaha
