Measure pitch between the blade tips on the M2 make sure you've got about 70mm which will give about 12 degrees. Then put rudder gyro up to 6 or 7 on the flight controller. I think you'll find the omp is far superior to the e180
Hey Kevin , I am an old heli flyer from wayyy back . To give you an idea I learned on Schluter Champion heli and flew down in Lauderdale when Curtis Young blood was the best heli pilot of all . And futaba gyros when a hot futuristic Item ... Actually spun up with electric motor . And I bet that gyro weighs as much or more than a lot of mini helis now .. It's really cool to see what are being built today and costs less than one crash on a champion. Keep up the videos 👍👍👍
You can get those M2 parts shipped next day from the UK. Would be good to see the comparison with the tail rotor the right way round, that killed the tail hold.

Very entertaining video. I have 260+ flights now on my Eachine E180. It's the best flying 3D heli I've ever owned. Some people have said it flies much smoother and "less robotic" compared to the OMP M2. It's nice to know it's also pretty durable for a micro heli for when that day comes. No major crashes yet knock on wood.
I can't believe it lived through that crash That's pretty awesome Most other models would have exploded like a fire cracker lol Nice flying Kev if practiced regularly you would be a excellent 3D pilot ✌️

So glad to hear i made the right choice when buying the E180. I wasnt sure about it. I really only bought the E180 because it looked much cooler. The M2 looks like its pregnant. After words felt stupid for making the choice based on that and the controller that comes with it. The M2 controller looks like one for a cheap simulator. Lol. I love the tail hold in the E180. Its incredibke how strong it holds under large amounts of stress.
I’m actually pretty confused on how Kev’s gonna act on the WLtoys 124018 RTR. It’s the best CHEAPEST RC and everyone so far enjoys it. Will love a review Kev ! xxxx from Canada
i have a 3ch chopper for indoors and that one is almost indistructable and that is because it's so small and weighs nothing. you can even stick your fingers in the rotors at full speed and no damage wil de done to your fingers and the chopper.

i'm looking to get back into helis after moving away from them years ago to racing drones. was thinking of the good old mcpx but these new breed with proper servos etc look good. that track at the end sounds like a remix of Pazi Sta Radis - Wikluh Sky.
