I really envy you n Mr. Dan n to all who grew up in Waverly Hall n the wonderful history that you can continue to share with other generations. Wish I was born there n grew up there. Mr. Dan should start his own CZcams channel for history. How he remembers all the dates , names and who is related to who amazes me. Great video. I love history of all kinds. Too often we don't know our history of our own areas. Thank you both for a very interesting, informative video.
Absolutely amazing to be able to tie the Pig Boy stories to these people. They were real and so, the Pig Boy is real, at least in my mind. Incredibly scary and deep down eerie as the mystery of time can make such things. The story that you read, Robert, also amazing and the style of writing back in the day takes on a poetic kind of lull. It only adds to the story with a great deal of reality - much unlike the sensationalism of today, which garners disbelief. So enjoyed this tale and all the stories and the sites to put it all together! Having this kind of detail is amazing! (Yes! amazing again!} The music and the black and white, to bleed color, excellent effects for this! Loved it, Robert! I can't wait for part 3!! (I think I heard the name Seaborn as Dan read the markers - isn't the man who built Aaron's log house named Seaborn? If so, I wonder if there is any connection?) 😮😳😲👍👍❣❣❣
I'm hooked on this story now!! I didn't want the video to end!! Come on, yall go find his camp and some artifacts. Maybe yall will find a picture of Dan tied to a tree... This is the best thing going on CZcams!!❤️❤️❤️
AAAAAHHH!!! Ihave missed this ! A person can take only so much " down on the farm" , but a good ole Sidestep Adventure sets the world right again... and Dan the walking encyclopedia in it equals perfection !
Oh my goodness!!!!! A plethora of history! The knowledge Dan has is off the charts. Shows a love of history, and his home town. Robert, your artistic side made itself known with the editing of this video. So happy you are indulging your creativity.
Dan you are such a treasure of information. I'm gob smacked at how you can remember all those people and tell their stories. Robert I have enjoyed this video of pig boy so much. You both are walking treasures for what you do. Iam so entertained by it all hanging on to every word you two say. Best Halloween story ever...I really do believe he existed but was severely deformed and neglected. Thank you both for bringing these people alive in our memories.
I live in Sydney Australia and have no connection with your part of the world but I love listening to Dan’s stories about your area. I look forward to seeing a new video appear on my suggestions list on CZcams. Thank you, Dan for the entertainment.
What an amazing walk through the past and such a fascinating tale!! You and Mr. Dan are keeping the past from fading into oblivion, it's like I walked through a portal into another world. Looking forward to part 3!!!
I'm sooo very thankful I didn't come across such a horrible thing while I was out in the middle of nowhere by myself (the dirt road of waverly hall) cool story though
Robert, there is so much heritage in the places you show us. Dan's memory and interest are phenomenal. I'm glad so many memories are being kept in your videos. Thanks to all of you.
Loved the second part of pig boy and all the witnesses, I did hear something at the swamp part, I am going to watch the video again to make sure I heard what it was thumbs up
Mr.Dan, I grew up in a small community and know exactly where your coming from. With your Love of Waverly Hall and it's history and your excellent memory,it's time to write a book about your town and it's people and their relation Georgia's and the Nations' history as well. This video helps, but a book of universal appeal would be a gift to all of us. Adding stories like the Pig Boy story, would make it a great read, Cheers, Rik Spector
I really loved this kind of video. Finding a cryptid/ monster from history and following where the story leads to bring it to life. I’ve never seen anyone do this particular format, using the old newspaper clippings and searching the graveyards. Well done!🐝🤗❤️
I have had a fascination w/ graveyards and cemeteries since I was a child. I can watch your videos for hours. One of the best channels out there of this type. Thank you.
Robert, we have been waiting on this addition to the story of the Pig Boy and thanks to Mr. Dan SO much more information on the associated people!! You all are a great team Robert!!
There are still great mysteries in our natural realm !👻 I love that you're respecting the memories of these people involved. Where ever they are?🤔🤗🤗✌✌❤❤👣👣👀
I recently made a trip to Fort Sumner, New Mexico. We visited the Old Fort Sumner graveyard, Billy the Kid is buried there. But there were several field stone markers there and thanks to Sidestep Adventures, I knew what those field stones meant. My husband was impressed when I explained it to him. Thanks Robert.!
I went to Andrew college in Cuthbert . When I pledge frat there they took us on road trip to a cemetery up by Columbus in middle of night and dropped us off and warned us about the Pigman in 1976
you never know the story has got a few witnesses it's like were I live there is a few spooky stories about the ghost hound of garndiffaith which always appear on top road looking for is master and there's a pub also got ghost a boy and a woman the Hanbury Arms goes back to early 1700 s all the best Andrew south wales uk 👍 👌 😀 🇬🇧 to you Dan
Quite the interesting stories and history of the pig boy and the families surrounding the pig boy. I sure would not hang out around that area even to this day. Scares the daylights out of me.
I still feel that there was a civil war veteran, disfigured physically & mentally by all he endured during the war, that was responsible for all those events. Wouldn't I love to know what happened to him.
I don’t know when it happened but sure sounds like a burn victim to me. The scar tissue would get some relief from the water and mud. I’m sure the man would have certainly been banned if not by neighbors, by knowing how disfigured he was. Sad really.
Robert, this is so amazing. Thank you for doing this. The time you spend researching, documenting, filming, processing, editing, etc is greatly appreciated, and the content is now available for future generations. So important to be done. Thank you with great admiration and respect.
I'm not sure if Dan remembers me. It's been twenty years. Bertha Sinclair Ingram is (was) my aunt. Her brother, George L. Sinclair, is my great-grandfather. It's great to hear these stories. Great channel Robert. Give my regards to Dan.
Yes I do remember you, Sid! I really miss seeing so many folks I grew up around like Miss Daisy, Margie, Jane, Georgie, Martha, Paul, Blue & Pauline, Brownie and everyone who used to stop in at Miss Bertha’s.
@@danthevictrolaman9830 They were a fun bunch for sure. A lot of memories. We still have Sinclair reunions every few years. I do get to see many of the children and grandchildren of the folks you listed. We are all getting old now! 😄 Love seeing you and hearing these stories on Robert's channel.
I love this story. My Mother was an Ingram and her people came up from the south and settled in Iowa and Indiana. She and my dad are listed at the end of Sidestep videos.
Fascinating history Robert.. can’t wait to see what happens after dark, but take care out there! It’s good to see the graves of the people involved. You and Dan were brave for going out there. Especially with the rustling of leaves in the underbrush..😱👍🏻😂
It always amazes me how knowledgeable Dan is about that area. He knows all these dates and relationships to the families. I love to listen to him talk. He has the most soothing Southern accent. Mine is more of the southern Appalachians.
Great stuff. Loved the switch to black and white when you started telling the story. As someone else said, Dan definitely has a plethora of knowledge about local history. Wait. He has a plethora of of knowledge and he asked if he was that old. Wouldn't that make him a Plethasaurus?
Give anything to have Dans memory. I was just telling my husband how informant he is about the history of everything and everyone. I can't tell you what happened yesterday. I love history as this. My grandmother was from Kentucky she would sit and tell so many stories sometimes over and over. You know to this day I wished I would had asked more questions because I am interested in her side of family. Love listening to Dan📚🌍💕
Fact or fiction pig boy is a great story. Thank you so much for this wonderful history lesson. My mothers paternal grandfather was a Brannon. No one really knew much about his background other than he was a confederate veteran. Looking at the names on the Brannon headstone makes me wonder how far one’s ancestors may have traveled to settle in different areas. Bless you and may you bring those of us who love history many more wonderful stories.
Very interesting information. Yous are very well informed. Very interesting. Just happen to come across the two of you. I am a small town in Ontario Canada. Just across the boarder. I have watch 3 of your video . Thank you.
I wish that Dan had said more about the Newberrys. I am trying to trace my Newberry family history. I know they were in Tennessee and Mississippi but don't know if they were in Georgia also. But I could listen all day to Dan telling about all the history he knows about the area he lives in. He is so very interesting.

Very thought provoking story. Being as the people there seemed to be honest and hardworking, I don't think this was a tall tale...and in keeping with some things that are coming to light now, it may be entirely possible all was true. Hybrid creatures are possible as well as clones, which have been hushed up. What a frightening experience for all involved, bless their hearts. They wrote it all down and they wanted it remembered for some reason. This earthly realm is more than we know. Love from Ky🤔🤨

Dan should write a book on his historical memories of Georgia's past.
