Thanks for the shoutout my friend. 😊 I just couldn't bring myself to paint the 1996 I built white and even the red could even be considered a little risqué. Looking forward to seeing you build a replica of yours, it's a fun and fairly easy conversion.
Nice look into what Frank drives! I've never cared for Fords. So I haven't built many except for NASCAR. But since I got back into building I found a new likeness for them. It doesn't hurt that I now drive a Ranger.
Great subject! I always wanted a Bronco but ended up with F150s. I too pick up those Bronco kits when they come out. My favorite being the Boss Hoss kit. It was a grail kit of mine. Thanks for sharing.
I was driving my 1956 Mercury one time and coming up to an intersection the brake pedal wen right to the floor. I swerved into the grass and dirt on along the road (figuring that would help slow me down) and yanked on the emergency brake. I stopped just a few feet short of the intersection. I have built the Monogram Revell bronco a few times, and the new Revell 60's Bronco which is a good kit too. The first BAJA Bronco you have has the fender flares - that's a plus. The 70s Bronco - round headlights are early 78 then Ford switched to the square headlights from then through 79. They actually use the same grille - Ford just changed the headlight buckets. Great video Frank ! 👍
My son in law has a 78 (I think) Bronco. My daughter loves it. I almost bought a new Bronco Sport when they came out, but I couldn't find an Area 51 with the wheels that looked like steeles. I ended up buying a 2018 Fiesta ST. I drive about 60 miles a day round trip on my commute and I drive it like I stole it and I still only use one tank a week. That's pretty good considering it's only a 12 gallon tank.
Back when fuel prices went through the roof, I ended up trading in an F350 for an Escape. I was in the Hudson Valley at the time, and while the truck could handle any snow we got, the Escape still did pretty good for itself. Now, if the new Bronco had a V8 option it might have been worth the crazy premiums, but the way it is, I think the Sport was the way to go. That Velocity Blue is a great color too - same as my Mustang.
We had a 1986 Eddie Bauer full size Bronco that my Dad bought brand new. 351 HO, factory Holley 4 barrel carb, red/tan, just an awesome truck and my favorite vehicle growing up, hands down. He traded it for a new '91 Explorer. I still hold that against him.
Great model cars and coffee Frank.
Thank you Frank, loved your story…entertaining and informative as well!!
Great video Frank. Keep them coming.
Great story.
Very cool Frank. Excellent stories about the past and some wonderful kits. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome Frank, and hope that you’re recovering well! I read that article multiple times and am too going to build a stock Bronco of that era.
The Ford Eh-scahp-aye! Great stories!
You aren't the first to have their wife force the sale of a vehicle. Great story, thanks for sharing

I had a 1990 Bronco. 5.0 L with a 5 speed manual trans. I still miss that truck. #igotfrizzosback
Greetings from Canada. Whether in Canada or the US, 'stealerships' are common.
@@cdpgbc-mw2kz Stealerships! That’s awesome…. I’m going to use that now!

Frank: "Bronco kits are like Thinderbirds with me, if I see a kit I'm gonna grab it."
Says the guy who has built two dozen Chargers. 🤣😂🤣
