One of the most requested series to bring back lately has been My Singing Monsters turned more Monstrous or made more realistic or grown up or however you want to phrase it. Finally, it has returned!
In this episode I’ve taken more requests from people in the comments, starting with the Maw turned into a freaky, mimic inspired beast ready to chomp hikers on it’s mountain. Next, I turn the Grumpyre into a menacing sky beast that attacks our Beast Chronicler Narrator. Third, I use my first Wublin and draw the Brump as possibly the coolest looking monster from this series. Finally, I turn the G’Joob into a monstrous sea leopard inspired creature.

If another episode of this is made, I can only hope a celestial will make an appearance, most likely Galvana due to her connection to the Wubbox themselves, and the implications that could have for this storyline. Even more so considering she is called "the mightiest" and "the de facto conductor" of Celestials, who are already the leading players of their respective elements.
I’d like to see her not look that young since she looks like a teenager in Starhenge while all the others look appropriate to their age and, well, a baby in Celestial Island. Because she created the Wubbox, and is basically the most powerful monster in the entire game.
I personally hope if he does one of the celsestials it’s hornacle. It’s one of the most visually intresting celestials and gives him a lot more to work with. As much as I like galvana they are kinda just. A humaniod with a dress and staff

I'd say the maw and the brump are the most interesting from this batch, and i always find the episodes centered in Tayrun and Vasilia's world pretty engaging so i don't mind having two in a row

For the next episode of this series, what about trying to work with legendary monsters like Werdos or the Shugabush? They have very human voices and some (like the Werdos) can speak coherently!
Most interesting I believe would be the Shugabush. Though they don’t speak, they are a monster created in the image of an actual country song artist named Kristian Bush as part of a collaboration. Somehow working that into the series would be amazing!

After seeing the Lilo and Stitch Experiments as SCPs, I am now interested in seeing them as other subjects. Like can you turn them into Folklore Beasts? Imagine Van Helsing and her assistant Ganghadran seeing someone like Lilo befriend whoever Stitch is in this universe and then they find ways of befriending the other Experiments/Beasts, convincing them NOT to hurt people.

This reminds me of that episode in the Lilo amd Stitch series when am experiment was suspected to be a vampire because it looked like a bat and was draining 'blood' (it was mucus)

Wow, what a great episode for this series. Personally, the Wublins are my favorite class of monsters from MSM so it was nice to see one of the original five get the Popcross monster treatment. If we were to see another episode for this series, I think taking a jab at one of the Prismatic monsters from the MSM prequel game Dawn Of Fire would be interesting as the designs for some of the Prismatics are pretty strange. If not, I would like to see either a seasonal or another fire monster. Keep up the great work👍
fun fact: the wublin island is caught in the middle of a never ending strom, the storm it's self is partly the reason why the wublins come to life.

This series is so good. The art and the lore both are so well crafted!!! For my choice of monster, I’d like to see the Stogg. It’s one of my favorites, and their crystal-centric bodies would be interesting. It could also be interesting to add the lore of the Fire Monsters, which had them all flee into the core of the Monster World as it was splitting apart, with only Kayna being saved by the Tribal Island Colossal. Then they were rediscovered as they entered the Living Core through the Tribal Island.
The Werdos would be cool to see, designs like Tawkerr or Parlsona would probably look really cool in you're art style. Also awesome work on the art in this video it looks amazing.
This was really fun. I have an idea for an episode that involves Metal Hellsinger or it’s main character The Unknown. Here is what the story is about…. (By the way it’s a episode that involve ultra violent video game characters in a D&D story)
The Unknown (a Tiefling who was banished by the Red Judge who also took her voice) to go through 9 realms with her team of adventures which consist of a bounty hunter Fallen Aasimar (Dante from Devil May Cry), a demon slaying paladin (Doom Guy), and a demon slaying witch who knows how to beat people up with we feet (Bayonetta). The story ends up dealing with bosses that are from all of the games I mentioned, and ends with a D&D version of the Red Judge from Metal Hellsinger
The narrator is the Skull that tags along with the Unknown (which contains the soul of the Unknowns lover, Paz), also he has a southern draw to his voice (for research, just watch some cutscenes for Paz’s voice).

Also can we get a horror themed episode on the week of Scream 6 or Evil Dead Rises releases? I think a Certain dragon episode deserves a part 2 and even add a new character to the series… here’s that idea
Spencis Charnas Origin
After studying the Honey-Hook Wyvern, I end up seeing a couple of knights from the Las Angels Guard working on a quest about the death of a women who has connections to a specific person they were looking for which has a connection to these dragons I was studying. So I was lead to this carnival of carnage we’ll call it which had some of the dragons I talked about already like the Fanged Jester, the Scorched Nightmare, The October Slow Stalker, and the 4 other dragons that I mentioned already. It made me remember the times I went to the kingdom where Willis Afterian used his so called dragons as attractions which is now a different kingdom entirely at this point and the kingdom has been destroyed by the time I’m telling you about him.
But I also saw and interview the owner of this place and his name was Spencis Charnas. He was wearing a suit that resembled half of a Scorched Nightmare and a Crystal Lake Camp Stalker with half of his face (well 25% of his face) covered with the fake skull of one of these dragons. But he also was holding a cane with a skull on top of the handle and wore (just for show) a bladed glove which represented the right hand of a scorched nightmare. He told me that he was really fascinated about these dragons sense he was little when he encountered the same exact October Slow Stalker that I studied that was caged here, which he said inspired someone to kill his sister, her friends, and even his parents which he ended up killing him in self defense but also he was a kid at the time and I don’t know if a kid could kill a full grown adult. Then he told me other things about him like he is the leader of a traveling folk story group that tells tales of these dragons.
But when he said that I did see when studying the Crystal Lake Camp Stalker that there were these lines of their little tale in the area which said…
"He Drowned in all our sins
He drowned in our mistakes
Fueled by the flood, we pay in blood
The curse of Crystal Lake"
And then I forgot about when I studied the Honey-Hook Wyvern I saw these lines which read….
"Left to die under the sun
The hive never spared anyone
How 'bout the hand for the honey bees
Hooked on the creed of their colony"
The most messed up part about the writing is that they were written in the blood of the dead bodies that were at the area where they were written.
Also Spencis told me about this place’s history and the dragons that he really wants in here and he even gave me the privilege to study them after hours when the place closes since he knew I was the Overseer of this world and knew how much I liked studying mythical beast, he would even asked me to create more of these types of dragons if I wanted too.
Then I asked him the big question that I think he knew I was gonna ask which was….
Why is the Las Angels Guard after you?
He told me more about his past where he was connected with the case of the death of Elias Black who was the alchemist who would help Spencis with his nightmares while he was traveling with his group which he told me that the fanged jester that was caged here, which I remembered that I studied that exact same fanged jester tortured Elias and killed him and now he is connected to the death of the women that I heard about which turned out is his Fiancé and the Las Angels leader Captain Harris isn’t stopping until he is behind bars. But Spencis told me that he knows who really killed her and he won’t stop until the real killer pays for what he has done.
But then I shook his hand and then left after talking to him and he even asked me if I was coming to opening night of the carnival and I told him yes and he told me these four words that I won’t forget "Sometimes…. Dead is Better." Which ended up gave me a shiver that went down my spine for some reason.
Then the big night came and Spencis Sang one of his songs with his group which was the Anthem to this place.
Then Spencis say these three words that would end up sticking with me every time I go to this place no matter if this place is opened or not which were…

(For context the character of Spencis is based off of Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas as a ringmaster like character, and The Honey-Hooked Wyvern and the Christal Lake Camp Stalker are based off of Candyman and Jason Voorhees respectively)

Never expected another episode of this! Also, It'd be great if you included in a celestial somewhere in the story. Also, since each control a specific element (ex. attmoz controlling air), It'd be very intresting to add them into the story!
Edit: I honestly thought that the Wublins would be created by Wu as smaller, less dangerous soldiers that assisted the deadly creations, requiring less life force than average.
Wow! Definitely my favourite out of the three episodes. I would love to see a fourth episode with more wublins like bonnapetite or astropod. You could draw monsters from the magical islands like the light and bone islands. I would love to see something like theremind or peckidna in your style! Hope too see more of this series
Can you do real life animals as Greek myths?
Make a note that on Saint Patrick's Day, you draw Cartoon Saloon (Irish animation company) characters in The Suicide Squad or as Xenomorph. Examples:

I think I’m terms of overall quality this is your best video for MSM, cause I seriously love all the monsters in this, with my favourite being the Grumpyre monster and how you made a creature with such a weird body look so cool and intimidating. One slight suggestion: I’d say that the tusks of the G’joob are one of the main focal points of the monster given they’re how it plays music, so I think they could be made a bit bigger in order to attract more attention, but overall I really liked that drawing as well with the over/underwater split. Awesome video, keep up the stellar work!

Thank you so much! And I agree, I kinda focussed more on the environment since it was a format I don't usually do (the above and under water) so that took some of my attention away from the design. If I had a do over, now that you mention it, I would make the horns bigger and maybe even add more of em to up the monstery-ness
i absolutsely love what you do with these renditions, and i ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE LORE you do for them. i'd love to see some more naturally friendly monsters in the series like déjà-jin. maybe pixolotl could be one of them, helping the protagonist soothe the wublins during the wublin arc with its mysterious chiptune sound
another idea could be humbug- its lore is really cool, it can apparentley rip holes in reality with the beat of its wings to create interdimensional portals, and i would love to see what you could do with that

Hello, Christian, I've been thinking about your Overwatch/League of Legends fusion video, and thinking about potential character combinations, so here are a few:
1) Tracer/Ekko- they're both characters whose powers focus on manipulating time, so there's that
2) Soldier 76/Lucian- formerly idealistic heroes turned violent cynics
3) Roadhog/Tahm Kench- I know they don't have much in common personality wise, but they're both fat villains, and Roadhog's alternate skins give him a shark theme, and Tahm Kench looks like a predatory fish himself. (perhaps, in the lore, he made a deal with Powder Fawkes after she went on her crime spree, and they have a mutually-beneficial partnership?)
4) Reinhardt/Braum- personality-wise, these two are the perfect mixture
5) Winston/Renekton- you mentioned before that you've always wanted to paint Renekton
6) Cole Cassidy/Ms. Fortune- what better fusion than a sci-fi superhero cowboy and a fantasy pirate (hunter)?
Those do all sound pretty sick! Though tbh the next time I use those topics I'll probably do something different with each of them, sorry!
I think that this was a nice and wholesome video regarding what Tayrun has been up to. He's not alone on his mission. He's got people there for him. I wonder when we'll have a story with Kate, Ana, and Jake helping Tayrun.
Speaking of which, how would Kate, Ana, and Jake feel about going to universe full of dragons and other fantasy creatures, and how would they react to seeing the creatures there?
I'm just asking as rather interested in what would happen. Please let me know. Sorry if that sounded nosy, I really like the stories and lore in these videos.

While not having watched many of your videos, I do enjoy the very heartwarming tone of the series. Rehabilitating feared but ultimately scared lonely creatures, to Tayrun maybe growing closer to his deceased sibling, to the message that we are not always as alone as we think ourselves to be
What I find greatly appealing to this game for me is precisely this spirit of wholesomeness; they're a little odd, a little strange or bizarre, but in the end they just want to make music! Which is what I think you've captured so effectively in the lore you've written, on top of trying to incorporate little details like the grum(pacious fang)pyre's "inverted" expressions(I also swear it's "fearsome" design is similarly meant to resemble a sinister smile)

I have an idea Turning PVZ zombies and plants into fantasy monsters. I know you've already done this a little bit but that was a Long ago and you've much improved in storytelling Also what if the narrator for that potential series was a relatively normal crazy Dave before going insane or maybe just a normal peasant trying to reclaim his home after it being ravaged by zombies making an almanac like seen in the 1st game to catalog the new plant beasts (He maybe befriends) and the zombies that have ravaged his home as he trys to take back
I just can’t get over how you took the freaking BRUMP of all things and turn it into such a MENACING BEAST and the background with the lighting was just * chef’s kiss * perfect! Also I would love to see what you could do with one of the monsters from light island, particularly Fluoress or Bulbo.

I really want to see you do one of the Seasonals. I had even been thinking of a possible Multiverse Tales story where they're just discussing different versions of Christmas, and you redraw a Yool. Or maybe that can be a Valentine's Day, since that's in a week. Possibly even Easter.

Yup, this character narration gives me yet more conviction that if I had a D&D alignment, I'd be Neutral. Not good, not evil. My empathy is selective; when it engages, I'm all-in, but when it's off, IDC.
This series is amazing! If you do another part I think it would be very cool if you drew Theremind! He's my favorite monster from MSM and I feel like he has a lot of potential with the exposed brain and reptile-like tail, not to mention you could probably make his spiral eyes look very cool.

This is definitely my favorite of the three so far! Amazing art and a nice little story to tie it all together. I'm sure it'll probably be a while before you make part four, but when you do I would love to see Cybop or Punkleton as monsters! Alternatively I'd love to see you do other things with the MSM characters. Mayhaps a superhero team or DnD party based on them? Either way, excited for whatever you put out next!
With the new release of a monster call Hyehehe, I think you could work with that perfectly in this series

Another great episode like always. I do have a monster that you can remake, it’s called a Binsonarus and there are two monsters instead of one. They both have a symbiotic relationship which you can use in your lore

Make a note to draw a DC Comics video next month to honor Shazam Fury of the Gods! Maybe draw DC Villains as Dinosaurs and use any of these ideas:

Captain Boomerang or Condiment King as a Stegosaurus

This was an awesome video, Christian. I really enjoyed your designs of these singing monsters. You definitely made the designs more monstrous and really cool. I did enjoy the four winged Fang vampire. I also usage of shading and the color schemes that were used. They're a nice chooses and in my personal opinion made the design feel more life like.
The lore for this video was really entertaining and delightful to hear. I did enjoy how you incorporated the information about these creatures from the Singing Monsters. I also like how you made the lore a little stressful for Tayren, just wanted of his duties of an Overseer and the people that he has to help. Also, I have to say that your art notes were really nice to hear and really interesting.

I really liked the inclusion of the Ghazt helping you out. My personal favorite monster is Stogg and would really appreciate it if you considered it. Other than that, poggers series and I hope to see more, along with fears IDK what attracted me to those but I like them.
I've been absolutely adoring this series and I look forward to the next part with INCREDIBLE excitement! Every single design her was absolutely godly and its hard to say which had my jaw dropped more between the Brump and the G'Joob! It was nice to see a monster with a softer toned instrument included! Though I'm still crossing my fingers for a Quibble to make an appearance! I think it'd also be interesting to see one of the string instrument based ones like a Bowhead or a Bowgart! Though the dulcet tones of a Shugabush wouldn't be amiss either! It'd also be just generally nice to see one or more of the more humanoid ones, besides Bowhead or Shugabush there are the Werdos and the Pom-Poms!
You should definitely do a part 4 of this. A stogg, reedling, or even a quarrister would be great in your style.
Hi-Fi Rush came out of nowhere and I just thought of an awesome sequel. I thought of it while considering the possible uses of Spectra that Kale didn’t think about. Basically, what if you purposefully get trucks transporting advanced cybernetics that could be controlled by Spectra be stolen by rival companies? I already got a story figured out after thinking about it for an hour. Basically a made up character that personally knows Roxanne Vandelay, that I’m calling the spy, knows that Kale did something immoral to get his position as CEO. He had skills in observing rival companies to help Vandelay with marketing and was a ninja enthusiast and has the trained stealth to prove it. When Kale takes over he orders them to spy on rival companies and steal any secret projects. Before they left they snuck into the CEO office and found out about Spectra. They knew that they couldn’t just free Roxanne in fear of Kale doing something drastic so they left to infiltrate the rival companies. Their plan was basically to learn how each rival company ticked and when they return to Vandelay to use Spectra to take control of all the corrupt heads of the rival companies so they have the manpower to take down Kale and get Roxanne back in control. Since Chia and his team actually dealt with Kale, the spy decided to change their plans to just take the back-up Spectra and use it after wiping the Kale AI from it to deal with the rival companies that would try to destroy Vandelay if they found out what kind of condition it is in from being under Kale’s control. This is where the let the rival companies steal tech to control them plan comes in. Chai is sent by Peppermint to check out why Vandelay tech is going missing. Chai has to fight the spy to find out their plan. The spy knows that Chai and his team wouldn’t let such a plan happen but they are as stubborn as Chai, and won’t stop until the rival companies’ CEOs that are as corrupt as Kale were in prison and no longer a threat to Vandelay. They don’t care if they have to personally take the blame for controlling companies to take out threats to Vanelay. The spy will probably use tech they stole from rival companies to fight Chai. Having to travel to rival companies is a great plot device to have new areas and enemies to fight in the sequel.
I've seen a bunch about that game and does look super cool! I plan to get it for my steamdeck when I get home, but I'm in South Carolina for 5 weeks, so it'll be a while before I can play 😛
Love the Pingu mention at the end, it's a great show but the walrus is terrifying.
We need an episode where you try to make childhood trauma from shows cute, or just make Pingu himself scary to match the walrus

I’ve been rewatching the SCP videos and I wanted ask about the Pokémon as SCP mostly has a good foundation sort of while Tayrun’ s is more shady

You should totally do more of these! Some recommendations I think would be cool for monsters like these would be Smoochle, Any of the Weirdos, Potbelly, Epic Toe jammer, epic quibble, any fwog variant, epic reedling, epic spunge, Riff, Yawstritch, Boskus, Phangler, floot fly, peckidna, denchuhs, and ding pray! Obviously whoever you choose next will be super awesome but these are just some I think would be rad to see!

Since you turned Brump into a more monstrous version of it, can you do the Poewk? Just like the Brump, it also is a Wublin and i really like its design. Another suggestion is the Xyster, it's another monster from Magical Sanctum and I feel like a snake would really fit in the lore.

These are always a cool watch and I'd love to see some more! If you continue this then I'd like to suggest a few monsters: the Reedling, Spurrit, Quarrister, Deedge and Cybop are interesting and I'd like to see your take on some of them. Not sure if anyone mentioned the Prismatic monsters but I definitely think they'd fit in this series!
I know it’s a little late by now, but this series brings me a lot of joy!! As someone who also has a hobby of making things scary, I love the ideas and lore you have behind each and every monster.
As for suggestions, I really think one of the celestials would be really cool in this series, specifically Galvana, Blassoom, or Loodvigg. I also thought of some of the seasonal monsters such as Punkleton and Monculus would be cool to see.

This was incredible. I've been a fan of your Fantasy Beasts/Monsters themed videos since they always have great designs as well as interesting stories to share, and I've heard of My Singing Monsters before and I found the concept of musical monster to be very interesting. So seeing you turn some more of these musical monsters into more classic fantasy beasts is incredible. I especially loved Maw’s and G'Joob's designs the most. Maw's gives off that cavern dwelling monster look to him that's ready to defend its turf while at the same showing others that even something simple can be deadly...plus I love how it still maintains its instantly recognizable and iconic look and I love how you made him look more like a mimic since they are cool creatures, Grumpyre’s gives off a primal beast look that's willing to fight the good fight and shows that the night holds many terrors...plus I love how it rocks the classic Grumpyre look as well as looking great with the whole almost mutant bat inspired design, Brump's design gives off that feel of a mysterious and fearsome amphibious beast that's willing to show everyone what type of terror it could be while showing its own unique prowess...plus I really love the mutant toad/frog look it has since it adds a sense of electric might to the beast, G'Joob's design gives off that feel of a powerful mystical beast that while looking terrifying in nature can be a quite docile and gentle soul...plus I don't know why, but for some reason this design with the apex predator of the deep vibe just seems to work. This was an amazing video with a new topic...and I like it. I'd love to see you turn some more My Singing Monsters into Fantasy Beasts since I think there is still so much more to tell. I'd also be ok with seeing you do a video on drawing some My Singing Monsters as either kaijus, different kinds SCPs, Superheroes or as mech/fantasy armours, since I think that would be pretty interesting...plus if its the case for armours, I think Benny and Vasilia would have a blast, and it would be fun to see Benny and Vasilia come up with armour ideas based on some of these powerful creatures and perhaps even work on a joint project and make a fantasy-mech armour hybrid. For other ideas for using other mobile games as topic for some future videos, I'd suggest looking into Summoners War, DragonVale and Raid: Shadow Legends since they all have amazing lore and incredible designs for their characters. I also can’t wait to see how Mara’s story continues in the multiverse tales episodes. Great job as always Christian and I can’t wait to see what you draw on Friday’s video.
P.s. do you think you could do a video of turning dinosaurs into mech armours? Cuz I want to see how Benny Sharp and Champagne McGregor would get along. Also do you think you could do a video we’re you turn Disney princesses into witches. Also could you try something with Apex Legends?
