Miso is a Syrian hamster! And they’re species not breeds lol! Hope this helps 😊
Also don’t worry getting the species breed thing wrong at first! I thought it was breeds as well till last year 😂, I can be very confusing to know the difference, but I just thought I would let you know 🙂

I let my hamster run lose around my bedroom but she started digging up the carpet in the corner of the room. No matter how big an area they have they just feel the need to escape!

Ah these are all the same issues I’ve had too! I finally caved and made a house for my Syrian myself out of a small Amazon box. He sometimes hides behind his wheel, but bedtime is always in his Amazon house now 😂

One of my other three favorite videos of all time. It is just so cute and Miso so very adorable.
Because of the pandemic, hamster houses are always too small, so for my Syrian boy I bought a big wooden tissue box, and this is his home. My other Syrian boy has a big wooden house and my Syrian girl loves her coconut house. ☺️

I had a couple of houses in the beginning for my hamster that she used, but since a couple of months she doesnt sleep in houses anymore. She just sleeps in the bedding, so cute, and i can see her

miss misso is much a cute hamster
Just rescued a Sirian and a Winter Dwarf few days ago. They're still young, but learning fast. The Sirian didn't have a house problem. Just on 2nd day it slept below the bedding. On day 1 it slept over the wheel, still have to teach it to make it run. The winter dwarf is doing just fine. Haven't tame them yet, still too soon :)
