Trans Euro Trail on a Benelli TRK 502X

- A dream came true. I did a small part of the Polish Trans Euro Trail (TET). For those of you who are not familiar with TET as they advertise themselves: EUROPE'S DIRT ROAD ADVENTURE transeurotrail...
I have been thinking about doing it for way too long. The main reason for it was the lack of a proper navigation app. Turned out it was super easy to overcome.
If you are an iPhone user I recommend Osmand Maps + GPX file you download from the TET page.
The closest TET point to my home is around 80km up north. I went for it. The video starts exactly at that point. On that day I did 330km. That is my personal best. Around 120 off-road.

Dzięki za ten odcinek. Nie wiedziałem o tym projekcie. A mam właśnie problem ,że co chcę gdzieś zjechać z asfaltu to same parki krajobrazowe i rezerwaty i już myślałem ,że wszystko stracone. Może się wybiorę moim 125 cc na odcinek dolnośląski w weekend.
Dla mnie to tez było odkrycie kiedy pierwszy raz zobaczyłem filmy kolegów z TET :)

the iphone camera has not been damaged by the vibrations of the bike? happens to many people
It happened to me once, last year to be exact. They replaced the camera. Ever since I don’t use it on the bike. This trip was an exception as without the GPS I wouldn’t make it.
TeT can be addictive, trust me haha.
Regarding the .app, are you using OSMAND?
Also, download offline maps so you have the track, overlayed on top of the map roads.
Never got any issue with it.

Yes, It’s osmand. I believe I downloaded maps only for one voivodeship and I must have crossed the borde at some point. TET is addictive, no doubt about it. I am already thinking about going back.

I baught a "Ulefone" that already have an "SOS" and on a press it will automatic msg the pre defined numbers, with my GPS location and a "Help msg" haha :D

@@EmilSbaste dzieki, to juz na tyle duzo zeby cos powiedziec o motocyklu, a za malo zeby ocenic trwalosc. kusi mnie ten motocykl, swoje sie juz wyszumialem i szukam czegos pasujacego do moich gabarytow zeby wozic tylek z a do b. pozdro
Nie mogę się zgodzić, co do części dot. trwałości, bo warunki w jakich moja sztuka funkcjonuje nie są standardowe. 10kkm na szosie nijak się ma do moich 4k w offroadzie. Mówiąc wprost, nie mam uwag co do jakości i mimo starań nic się nie zepsuło ;)
@@EmilSbaste Zgadza sie, asfalt a drogi nieutwardzone to duza roznica. ale to caly czas bardzo maly przebieg zeby ocenic trwalosc. mysle ze przy 30k bedzie mozna wyrobic opinie. obys byl dalej zadowolony
Pojechałem wczoraj benkiem pierwszy raz w teren i szczerze mówiąc zero przyjemności w porównaniu z lekkim enduro. Męczenie siebie i sprzętu.
Z pewnością lekkie enduro to idealny sprzęt na taki teren, ale męczenie siebie i sprzętu także ma swoje pozytywne strony ;)
