Axiom 25 and other old gear I mess around with.... in Logic & MainStage

I bought a used Axiom 25 2nd gen for $40 CAD and had some ideas of how I could use it both in MainStage as part of my over-all live rig, and in Logic 11, as just another midi controller option. I thought an 18-year-old keyboard would be obsolete, but it still works correctly with DirectLink, after a bit of tweaking to get the transport controls assigned.
Features I was after? full-size keys, instead of mini keys, 5 pin DIN midi connectors, LCD display, fully programmable and of curse a budget price. There are so many Axioms for sale on the used market, you can negotiate
In this video I explain how to configure controller assignments in Logic, in several ways. And how to prepare to map an obsolete old midi keyboard that might still be useful. Then I walk through my live rig with MainStage and how I use the Axiom 25 along with 2 other midi devices all at the same time!
BTW - I had just upgraded to Logic Pro 11 this week while, making this video! What an ironic time to test a very old midi controller with the latest version of Logic, right?

If you think that controller is old, I have it's old brothers the Axiom 25 1st gen and and the red 49 1st gen, but I did upgrade to the Oxygen Pro 61.

In video you state LK mini 25 only has USB MIDI - contrare mi amigo, it also has a 1/8" TRS MIDI out that works with a MIDI "A" adapter (buy from Sweetwater for $6)
