This discussion of the dashas made me curious about the transits and wow. Kids born today are one lucky bunch. Jupiter is retrograde, in domicile AND vargottama! Not to mention that Moon barely entered Swati today so Jupiter dasha will most definitely be experienced & be exceptional! (unless something happens to them before which I’d hope would not be the case).
I’m so jealous 😭💀
15:46 - dasha planet in friendly sign
21:46 short recap (nice)
22:50 negative states start
Planets fall, and so do people.. but sometimes into something good, like love. ❤
Ketu in satabhisha and ketu dasa, sometimes it's extremely good and sometimes so tough on mental state.
MOON DOES NOT LIKE VENUS AND VENUS IS TOO BUSY TO NOTICE
And yet Krishna camet to yoke them together.
@@cut_the_crapp why starved? Only Saturn starves other Graha’s. Moon and Venus conjunct is a beautiful yoga.
@@cut_the_crapp Ah yes, thank you!
Mercury in Pisces. In mercury mahadasa my own sister acted like my enemy!
You always stream when it's midnight in Central Europe. It's not fair 😅
The Phaaladeepika should be taught to children at the primary school level.
Teaching planets, signs and houses, alongside the alphabet just makes sense. I mean, it's literally the most solid foundation to have for every other scholarly investigation, not to mention a world-shifting life-skill.
I have the weirdest "Vargottama"! D1: Saturn from Virgo parivartana with Mercury in Cap. D9: Saturn in Capricorn, Mercury in Virgo
Thanks again GurujiViC! That almost sounds like a Russian surname.
I've discovered that some with Vargottama planet in at least 3 Vargas, like
D1.D7.D9.D24 while that same vargottama planet is also their Aatmakaaraka, certainly could make one desire to understand, the inner working and common ground, within and of, the many relationships found between spiritual knowledge/mystery schools/the wisdom of all nations.
Definitely, I've found there's a very strong interplay, between Moon Mercury Venus Jupiter.
Where one's Aatmakaaraka is Vargottama, in the House that would be Lorded by ones DaaraaKaaraka, Ascendant Lord and strongest aspecting benefic.
Then you see the magic of Svamsa with just a glance of the lagna chart.
Perhaps an interplay of Bhavat Bhavam 5 from 5 from 5 for an Aatmakaaraka found to be made Vargottama, 12 from 12 from Aatmakaaraka, shows that Rashi, of which ones Aatmakaaraka, is indeed the Lord thereof.
8th Rashi and 12 rashi or cusps, may have a nature of the Lord of that rashi, one finds the Aatmakaaraka to have been placed. And so on...

Thank you Vic. (heart emoji I do not know how to do with a computer key set)
Yogjni dasha??
Hey Vic, maybe I didn't notice in the session, but did he mention anything about parivartan/graha exchange?
Would not an eclipsed planet include conjunctions with Rahu and Ketu as they are the points causing actual eclipses? I think that would make sense. At least my personal dasha confirms that being abused and attacked by a planet in a friendly sign.
To know what a planet is like, do we follow the dignity of the planets you calculated for our individual case (based on our main chart and all other sub-charts I believe) or its placement in the main chart? E.g. a planet may be in an enemy sign in the main chart but the calculus you made says it's got very good dignity but low strength - what do we consider that planet?
Thank You Vic ji 🙏 Would the effect explained in 13-14 min. remain same for say Capricorn lagna native, when Sa transits lagna and is supposed to be in its Maran Karaka Sthanan ? please guide 🙏
Saturn in Aries (fall) vargottama is considered in domicile ? What if conjunct ketu? Considering sun is in Gemini.
Regarding a planet in fall: eg sun in Libra, will such a native possibility have a challenging time in their birthday month ( depending on aspects) throughout life?
OH I’m surprised nobody asked but how do we assess Rahu/Ketu dasha then since Rahu & Ketu do not necessarily have an exaltation, friendly signs, etc?
yes. i think this is why people try to asign such things to RAHU/KETU.
Personally, i think this is ONE of SEVERAL techniques meant to be used TOGETHER. Not every technique applies to every planet.
How you use tropical zodiac and dasha? When dasha are made from sidereal placements
dasha is on nakshatra, so the schedule is sidereal.
Thanks
@perfecto31 and @circ7e are both me fyi
You (and my observations of moon in Scorpio ppl) got me to use and want to use Tropical… but the idea of adding and subtracting +/- 23 degrees.. just to go back and forth. Seems cumbersome and forced. So I submitted and use Lahiri ayanamsa
Hi Vic, I hope you can answer my burning question about the Sidereal Mahadasha system. This is where one is born in Venus dasha in the Sidereal Sagittarius moon sign, but in the Tropical system the moon sign is in Capricorn. How can astrologers correctly calculate the complete Tropical dasha throughout someone’s life, because it’s some degrees apart from the Sidereal system?
nakshatra dasa are based on nakshatra. nakshatra are stars ("siderus"), therefore we either use stellar ("sidereal") planetary coordinates, or we translate nakshatra coordinates to tropical values using ayanamsha.
I've turned Mercury Moon relationship in m'y head a few times and my feeling is that Mercury cannot be hostile towards Moon if all Moon Dashas are "nice" - ....if you are in the house if sb who doesn't like you it feels " not nice" ...i think it is other way round - Moon is hostile To Mercury....????
What does astrology or the Vedas teach one must do to help when bad periods happen? How to approach life? How to find solace or respite or hope in the midst of all that? How were people in concentration camps meant to approach that?
astrology teaches how to read charts, not how to live. for that you must consult the mahabharata and gita.
@@VicDiCaraAstrology thanks. Reason I asked is because many an astrologer says something along the lines of "the universe has your back/the universe loves you/everything happens for your good", so if they use such statement in their astrology message, they should have messages that proves that when people go through hard things and not just treat it as "but the universe loves you". At least say what people must read or where to go to learn that helps truly since astrology doesn't teach how to live.
Does the age of a planet affect their dasha?
If a planet is really old, does that make the effects tired?
I have heard things like this here and there. But it was not mentioned in this particular technique.
A pained planet, as if like, that of a representative body, being combusted.
😏
