- Here's how to get more power from a chainsaw by giving it mild exhaust port (drill out muffler) and adjust the carb mixture for the new setup. Buy this saw cheap on Amazon: amzn.to/3xM3FGZ

getting a bit more power from a cheap chainsaw is quite easy with an easy exhaust modification and the critical carburetor adjustment. You just need to ensure the carburetor is adjusted correctly and stay a bit to the "rich" side so you do not burn up the engine due to running lean.

Used to own this exact same saw. Along with the "outlaw". Both of them were garbage throw Away saws. But I suggest cutting the output deflector basically in half
The exhaust blows directly into the the chain
Which screw driver ended up working ? PAC man ?
Good video !
Glad you enjoyed it
Like the hat at the end.
Nice brother ❤️👍👍
It's a Craftsman that looks like a Remington .
It’s almost like you know what you’re doing
Once in awhile I get lucky :)
You seem to undersell your skills, however my question is why always blue and never red lock Tite. That red was for the extra heat of exhauste? Not nit picking it's a legitimate question. Thanks........James
Blue holds fine on exhaust. Red requires torch level heat to debond it- it doesnt belong on small engines or fasteners in to aluminum etc. If you end up needing red to hold anything from vibrating loose- there is something wrong with the equipment/design. Good for sinking in say a collet or bushing where you dont need to remove without heat and want a good seal/permanent hold. Cheers
@@TacTechTrail thanks for the reply, I learned something new thanks......James
It's barely revving up. Not a happy saw...
Funny it told me it was quite content
Because of emissions they do not come rich from the factory but dangerously lean. Your saw is just put of tune.
Sorry but you are quite mistaken. Lean conditions raise combustion temps and actually increase emissions by increasing oxides of nitrogen output. These contribute to acid rain, smog and ozone depletion. Saws will never ever come "dangerously lean". This would be universally bad for manufacturers as the engine would be destroyed on the first cold dense day- and fail emissions.
Best do some actual reading.
thats a little toy not a chainsaw lol need a 450 rancher
