Sorry it has been a minute guys! A lot happening behind the scenes that is shaking out this week finally. Taking it easy with a quick update then we are back to our regular scheduled makeovers. I loved having Holly hand me a fix it list and then adding my tweaks. It's fun revisiting spaces and tailoring them a bit! Thanks Squarespace for sponsoring today's episode xx.

Out of curiosity, why did she elect to permanently close off that entry to the room instead of just putting a door in?
Yes I was confused about this too!
Oh how did I not say that? Thought I mentioned it in the intro. She never uses that door and Vinny jumps over that cabinet that I showed to what was the opening before xx.

Such a great move to look back on spaces you're made up after they've been lived in and "fix" them. It shows us that it's ok to make mistakes and go back and fix it. Fab job again Rachel 💚

I think there’s so much more to learn by going over projects.
Amazing! If it were me I might want to make the spacing between the doorway slats a little bigger for me to see through but that’s definitely just my preference. I need to do that slat technique on a few walls at my place. It looks incredible!

Sometimes you have to use a space for a bit to see what's working for you and what isn't. I can totally appreciate this video. I have changed rooms in my home countless times. I like the redo as well.

Navy blue is the new black!!!! I’m in love with all the blues this fall. Even thinking of incorporating blue as my main color for Christmas this year. In love with this one for sure ✨✨✨✨❤️❤️❤️

I liked the original makeover a lot but I agree that it was too much clutter, which somehow made the whole room even darker. Now it looks absolutely beautiful and it is great that you were able to adjust this based on her experience in the room

I ABSOLUTELY love this refresh! The only thing that didn't do it for me...was the corkboard, lol. I wish you'd just covered up the whole thing or taken out the whole thing.

If you like popcorn get a whirlypop. It changed my popcorn game and you can use whatever oil and seasoning you like to keep it healthier. Personally I go movie theater style which is the least healthy version lol.
