I have the Flower lipstick in Spiced Petal and the CT in Pillow Talk. They are very similar, but Spiced Petal has more pink/red in it. Many people wanted Pillow Talk to be more pink, and this should make them happy. I find the Flower lipsticks to be more moisturizing...another plus. :)
Terry Fischer How does the Flower lipstick wear as compared to the CT formula? Does it come off relatively quickly? To me, it’s not a true dupe unless it wears as well or better than the high-end product.
I just discovered a dupe for my holy grail lip liner yesterday! Kevyn Aucoin Flesh Tone Lip Pencil in Medium (Neutral Nude) for $25 is EXACTLY the same and Rimmel 1000 Kisses in 50 Tiramisu for $4.49 !! Mind blown!! I can promise I will be saving $20 going forward no matter how special using a Kevyn Aucoin product makes me feel!!

The Loreal glowtion isn’t too shiny. Alana Davidson and Jamie Paige love it and actually found the light bronze shade to be a dupe, and those ladies love CT Flawless Filter. Nice to have so many affordable options!

Emily YOU ROCK!!! Although I liked these shades of a few of the CT line the lack of inclusion in the rest of the line for very fair and Deep skin tones left me with a bad taste in my mouth. If I am going to invest in something I want to believe in the brand. (One of the reasons I watch your channel WOC are not treated as an after thought). I have added these items to my shopping list as they would make great everyday looks. Hi! I just bought the Flower Beauty lipstick in Spiced Petal that you recommend-it’s great! Just thought I’d share another lipliner that works very well with it-NYX lipliner in Ever/Toujours. It is just a bit darker but helps outline the lips to give them more definition IMO. Thanks for the great video!

I hear NO ONE speak of it's awesome-ness, and it truly is a hidden gem at the drugstore 👌 I've owned it for a couple months now and never realized how similar it is to Charlotte Tilbury. I also have the glowtion, and I like it too, but the visible lift has a more nourishing formula and less obvious sparkle. I use it many ways. My favorite is mixing the rose shade into my facial sunscreen. It gives it a tint, which cancels out the white cast of zinc 👌 brilliant product, I reach for it almost every day
Yes. Love that way of putting it. I'm going through a divorce after 30yrs together and trying to move. Moving has proved so costly that I feel I have neglected myself. Just been very depressed and spend a lot of time crying my eyes out. I need some kind of pick me up soon as I've hit rock bottom it feels. Just a horrible time in my life. Hard to start over at 51 and I've gained 25 pounds in the past 6 months. Nothing fits me and I'm living in sweatpants. I really need to get back to living life at some point. I like the way you said "season" this is hopefully just a season in my life that I hope I never encounter again. Too much pain.

I've been eyeing the Pillow Talk lip products, but as an older, (trying to be wiser) woman, I prefer to spend judiciously on cosmetics so I can invest more in skincare...as soon as you mentioned the Jordana "Tawny" lip pencil, I ran upstairs and found it in my collection. It's such a great nude, one that I've loved for a long time! As for the lipstick dupe, Flower Beauty is a company I am happy to support, so the shade you found will be my next buy. Sharalees Box Of Chocolates just know that it’s not going to perform anywhere near the CT. The simple cheek application she shows here, maybe. But they are in no way comparable in how the CT is typically used....which isn’t used like shown.....which was kinda weird 🤔 But maybe there are people out there that use it like that 🤷🏼♀️ Sidenote.....go to sephora and have them give you a sample of the CT!! They’re great about giving samples and when you’re thinking of spending that kind of cabbage on 1 item, pffft, sample-a-sister-up!! 😜

This is weird. I was just watching videos and thinking that when I hear someone say I’m not getting that palette or item because I have those colors already in my collection, I would like to see the color in their collection. I was thinking it would be a great video idea...duping high end , or seeing how many similar pinks one has in their stash, similar blush colors, etc. And here comes Emily blowing my mind with the same freaking idea mere minutes later! On another note, this is why I don’t buy high end...we can always find a close enough shade from cheaper brands and most times with higher quality and definitely lower prices. Loved this! Flower Beauty is awesome!! I love their lipsticks, pressed translucent powder, foundation, and lip butters. Ulta runs sales on Flower Beauty every so often, and that's when I stock up . Also, since they are considered to be drugstore at Ulta, you can use the weekly coupons they have on it. I got the foundation for $6 when it was on sale.

You ROCK!! I admit I broke down and purchased the Hollywood Flawless Filter and the Pillow Talk lipstick, and I love them both. Especially the Hollywood Flawless Filter! That product is so lovely and versatile, I felt as though I was getting bang for my buck. But I just refused to pay $53 for a quad eyeshadow! I mean, I paid less for my ABH Sultry pallet, and I use every one of the 14 shades. I was trying to find dupes for the CT Exagger-eyes Quad, and just like my Fairy Godmother, you reveal the fact that I have had them all along in my ColourPop Fame pallet!! I LOVE DUPE VIDEOS! You do them better than anyone. Incredible accuracy and attention to detail. Some of these dupes are better than the Charlotte Tilbury selections, like that eyeshadow palette from Colourpop. One product I do have to give Charlotte Tilbury credit for, though, is that Hollywood Flawless Filter. Her line has 6 or so shades, which is more than the L’Oreal dupe offers. That shade range sets it apart, imo.

I’ve got the Fame and the Fortune palettes from ColourPop as well several others too. I’ve always thought to myself “why should I spend $50 on 4 eyeshadows?! That’s not enough bang for my buck.” I’m always happily surprised with how well drugstore brands have listened to us on social media and really stepped up their game! Sometimes I find myself so overwhelmed by all the social media out there....but one definite major benefit of social media is how much it really has influenced these major drugstore and more affordable cosmetic/skincare brands to make VERY competitive products to rival prestige brands....sometimes even surpass prestige products!! 💋🔥♥️

I know the ct quads are reamly expensive but the formulas are in my opnion so unique. When used as recommended by the brand, they create the really sophisticated looks and yoy dont need skills because they aren't super pigmented. So yeah, they are v expensive but you do get very unique beautiful colors that make you look like a model.
Amazing dupe colors for the Charlotte Tilbury palette and lipstick! You know your costmetics and are so good at color. The Colorpop shadow looks like it has more pigment as you were applying the shadows. Love and happiness from Teresa.

I went to my local CVS today and scooped up the last L'Oreal Serum Tint product in Rose, as you suggested, and can't wait to use it! Oh, as icing on the cake, I had several coupons from CVS and ended up paying around $6 for the product, so thank you for sharing about these great dupes. Yes, love this. I’ve been going back and forth on getting that colourpop palette. Now that I’ve made up mind to get it I hope my local Ulta has it in stock. They seem to never restock anything after Christmas for months and months. Last time I was there they had completely removed Lorac and some physicians formula.
Order from colourpop's site, they have great shipping options, $15 for 2 business days and I've ordered on a Friday and gotten it on Monday. You'll have a much easier time than trying to find it stocked at ULTA... And this is coming from someone who does NOT like to order online. And honestly you'll not be disappointed with either the palettes or the super shock shadows/highlighters. In my opinion, it's the best formula out there and the prices are phenomenal! The 9 pan palettes are only $12 - $16, the super shock shadows are $5.00, cruelty free and vegan. With the super shock formula you need to use a coarser hair brush, natural is preferable. Synthetic just doesn't pick up the same way. I've got about 8 palettes and a dozen or more SSshadows.... Lmk if you need anything else info wise, cuz I've got/used almost every product by colourpop...

Wet N Wild has a PhotoFocus Primer Dewy that is also a dupe for the Flawless Filter. It's very shiny and has that beige base tone. 👍👍

The Loreal glowtion isn’t too shiny. Alana Davidson and Jamie Paige love it and actually found the light bronze shade to be a dupe, and those ladies love CT Flawless Filter. Nice to have so many affordable options!

Emily YOU ROCK!!! Although I liked these shades of a few of the CT line the lack of inclusion in the rest of the line for very fair and Deep skin tones left me with a bad taste in my mouth. If I am going to invest in something I want to believe in the brand. (One of the reasons I watch your channel WOC are not treated as an after thought). I have added these items to my shopping list as they would make great everyday looks. As a preschool teacher I like being to put together but my wallet says “let’s use a bit of wisdoms when comes to purchases”. Thank away for smashing alternatives.

I just bought the Flower Beauty lipstick in Spiced Petal that you recommend-it’s great! Just thought I’d share another lipliner that works very well with it-NYX lipliner in Ever/Toujours. It is just a bit darker but helps outline the lips to give them more definition IMO.

Ahhhh! 🙈🙌 Thank you so much for showing the Loreal visible lift serum tint!!! I hear NO ONE speak of it's awesome-ness, and it truly is a hidden gem at the drugstore 👌 I've owned it for a couple months now and never realized how similar it is to Charlotte Tilbury. I also have the glowtion, and I like it too, but the visible lift has a more nourishing formula and less obvious sparkle. I use it many ways. My favorite is mixing the rose shade into my facial sunscreen. It gives it a tint, which cancels out the white cast of zinc 👌 brilliant product, I reach for it almost every day

Yes. Love that way of putting it. I'm going through a divorce after 30yrs together and trying to move. Moving has proved so costly that I feel I have neglected myself. Just been very depressed and spend a lot of time crying my eyes out. I need some kind of pick me up soon as I've hit rock bottom it feels. Just a horrible time in my life. Hard to start over at 51 and I've gained 25 pounds in the past 6 months. Nothing fits me and I'm living in sweatpants. I really need to get back to living life at some point. I like the way you said "season" this is hopefully just a season in my life that I hope I never encounter again. Too much pain.

I was so thrilled to see these dupes! I've been eyeing the Pillow Talk lip products, but as an older, (trying to be wiser) woman, I prefer to spend judiciously on cosmetics so I can invest more in skincare...as soon as you mentioned the Jordana "Tawny" lip pencil, I ran upstairs and found it in my collection. It's such a great nude, one that I've loved for a long time! As for the lipstick dupe, Flower Beauty is a company I am happy to support, so the shade you found will be my next buy. Sharalees Box Of Chocolates just know that it’s not going to perform anywhere near the CT. The simple cheek application she shows here, maybe. But they are in no way comparable in how the CT is typically used....which isn’t used like shown.....which was kinda weird 🤔 But maybe there are people out there that use it like that 🤷🏼♀️
Sidenote.....go to sephora and have them give you a sample of the CT!! They’re great about giving samples and when you’re thinking of spending that kind of cabbage on 1 item, pffft, sample-a-sister-up!! 😜

This is weird. I was just watching videos and thinking that when I hear someone say I’m not getting that palette or item because I have those colors already in my collection, I would like to see the color in their collection. I was thinking it would be a great video idea...duping high end , or seeing how many similar pinks one has in their stash, similar blush colors, etc. And here comes Emily blowing my mind with the same freaking idea mere minutes later! On another note, this is why I don’t buy high end...we can always find a close enough shade from cheaper brands and most times with higher quality and definitely lower prices. Loved this! Flower Beauty is awesome!! I love their lipsticks, pressed translucent powder, foundation, and lip butters. Ulta runs sales on Flower Beauty every so often, and that's when I stock up . Also, since they are considered to be drugstore at Ulta, you can use the weekly coupons they have on it. I got the foundation for $6 when it was on sale.

You ROCK!! I admit I broke down and purchased the Hollywood Flawless Filter and the Pillow Talk lipstick, and I love them both. Especially the Hollywood Flawless Filter! That product is so lovely and versatile, I felt as though I was getting bang for my buck. But I just refused to pay $53 for a quad eyeshadow! I mean, I paid less for my ABH Sultry pallet, and I use every one of the 14 shades. I was trying to find dupes for the CT Exagger-eyes Quad, and just like my Fairy Godmother, you reveal the fact that I have had them all along in my ColourPop Fame pallet!! Thank you Emily for putting in the work so we don't have to!

I LOVE DUPE VIDEOS! You do them better than anyone. Incredible accuracy and attention to detail. Some of these dupes are better than the Charlotte Tilbury selections, like that eyeshadow palette from Colourpop. One product I do have to give Charlotte Tilbury credit for, though, is that Hollywood Flawless Filter. Her line has 6 or so shades, which is more than the L’Oreal dupe offers. That shade range sets it apart, imo.

That’s not enough bang for my buck.” I’m always happily surprised with how well drugstore brands have listened to us on social media and really stepped up their game! Sometimes I find myself so overwhelmed by all the social media out there....but one definite major benefit of social media is how much it really has influenced these major drugstore and more affordable cosmetic/skincare brands to make VERY competitive products to rival prestige brands....sometimes even surpass prestige products!! 💋🔥♥️

I know the ct quads are reamly expensive but the formulas are in my opnion so unique. When used as recommended by the brand, they create the really sophisticated looks and yoy dont need skills because they aren't super pigmented. So yeah, they are v expensive but you do get very unique beautiful colors that make you look like a model.

I went to my local CVS today and scooped up the last L'Oreal Serum Tint product in Rose, as you suggested, and can't wait to use it! Oh, as icing on the cake, I had several coupons from CVS and ended up paying around $6 for the product, so thank you for sharing about these great dupes. Yes, love this. I’ve been going back and forth on getting that colourpop palette. Now that I’ve made up mind to get it I hope my local Ulta has it in stock. They seem to never restock anything after Christmas for months and months. Last time I was there they had completely removed Lorac and some physicians formula.
Fame is one of my favorite CP palettes. So much better in person, than in pics.
Order from colourpop's site, they have great shipping options, $15 for 2 business days and I've ordered on a Friday and gotten it on Monday. You'll have a much easier time than trying to find it stocked at ULTA... And this is coming from someone who does NOT like to order online. And honestly you'll not be disappointed with either the palettes or the super shock shadows/highlighters. In my opinion, it's the best formula out there and the prices are phenomenal! The 9 pan palettes are only $12 - $16, the super shock shadows are $5.00, cruelty free and vegan. With the super shock formula you need to use a coarser hair brush, natural is preferable. Synthetic just doesn't pick up the same way. I've got about 8 palettes and a dozen or more SSshadows.... Lmk if you need anything else info wise, cuz I've got/used almost every product by colourpop...
