During the PM Rush Hour, some (4) Trains terminate @ New Lots Avenue
I just happened to stumble upon this for my kid since he loves trains like me. As a kid growing up in Queens, I always loved the subway and rode it all day on days that I had nothing to do. I always wanted to become a conductor one day, but sadly, I never had a chance. Thanks so much for this video!

I love this video. Thank you so much. I was born and raised in New York. I loved riding the subways. It's one of my fondest memories. The sounds of the wheels screaming during turns and the clicking and clacking of the wheels rolling over the tracks has always relaxed me. Miss the smell of the tracks and wood. I always thought I would grow up to be a conductor. Sadly life had other plans for me. I now live in the Midwest for more than 20 years. I get home sick and watch train vids. Thank you man this really made my night. I went to DeWitt Clinton high school so I am familiar with the 4 line. Everyday for 4 years. Thank you again for this. Only thing that would've made this video better, if the 6 train pulling into 125 would raced the 4 out of the station. I used to love watching it go up and over the 4 train. Aaawwww no place like NYC.
Now the 4 from Woodlawn to New lots is what I call the true 4 train
I've noticed there's been times these selected 4 trains to New Lots Av(pm rush hour) switches to the local track after Franklin Av-MEC

Nice ride! Nov. 26th was a great day to record due to there not being a lot of people. Also, people need to stop complaining about what car the ride takes place in and instead enjoy the actual content.
I find it funny how people really expect me to record a full ride from a crowded first car 😂
@@LanceWright Unfortunately, the viewers don’t care if the car is full of people. They only care about their wants and not what the creators can control.
Not trying to be rude, but the first car isn’t always packed. Took it many times, and whenever I see trains passing by, it’s usually the middle and the back that are the most packed.
@@r211Afan Well that’s your experience. I’ll only record a full ride from the first car on certain lines, depending on how crowded it gets. But other times, I’m doing the last car since it’s less crowded for me 🤝
@@r211Afan You must be lucky, because I haven’t rode a 4 train to New Lots Avenue during rush hour in which the first car was empty, or any train in that matter.

only a select few of the NYC rolling stock will actually let you see through the front window, it's usually blocked off

Love the video. I wish you had this idea 20 years ago when the redbird trains were out. You could have filmed from the front window. Also, I like how they switched your train to the local track after Franklin Avenue
This is a theory, but I think he uses the cars near the back because the first car is more crowded. Being in the back (or less crowded car(s) will reduce the chance of running into someone who is rude over the filming, and make it easier overall to film
