My little brother is lighter skinned, so it isn't as obvious, but on his stomach and chest area he actually has vitiligo. The doctors recommended medicine but nawww he said no it's his cute little 'pizza mark'

It is a lifelong condition and Michael Jackson has it. That is why his skin color changed. He used make up to hid it but it was so extensive and couldn't hid it any longer that it was it appears to have happened with him suddenly. His make up artist even made comments.

I actually had vitiligo. That condition was horrible for me I have tanned skin and had vitiligo around my eyes.I was treated like an outcast no one except a few wanted to be friends with me in school. My own mother was ashamed of me. And tried to get rid of it. We eventually did find a cure for me and now I am cured

People always say this. I have it and hate it. I don’t think it’s pretty at all lol and feel like people just say that to be nice. Even skin tone is one of the most basic beauty standards, wish I could trade this condition to someone who thinks it’s beautiful to have your body attack itself removing any natural sun protection, it is pretty much permanent, and totally unpredictable where, when, and how much of your pigment will be lost. I see her beauty, but not from her skin disease.
