Me and my boys love your channel. I've been watching for about 10 years and my kids are finally getting into cars because of your videos. Cheers Tim
@@bipbapthegrunt thanks man! Gotta show the kiddos some great content
Ah mini Shmee's call them Shmee 50 and 75 respectively due to age? Lol
@@sidneygriffiths5737 7 and 4. Their great kids, but I wanna show them true cars before they grow up in yhe electric world.
It’s crazy to see how consistent Tim has been I remember watching the OG spotting videos over 10 years ago, the blue crew, and now the current videos.
WOW! I didn’t realise your trip was THAT expensive, but I’m sure I can speak for everyone here when I say we enjoy it
You knew it wasn't gonna be cheap. The transport for the car alone is big money and hotels food etc big money
The money will come back, but you only make these memories once.
Thats the best way i can describe this trip. Enjoy yourself Tim!
Thanks @Shmee150 for taking us along the journey and breaking down the cost. Superb content!!!
I love your transparency shmee it gives a glimpse of the stressful work and accounting it takes in order to make sure yoy dont drown in bills
I think it’s really cool and interesting of you explaining all the planning and cost that goes into it and would love to see you do this more often on these trips.. keep the good content coming
Shmee150 is one of my absolute fav channels! different than any, such original content, its like getting to go on dream vacation/road trips from your arm chair, alongside someone chill that'd be great to hang with, so good Tim!
Tim…you are always very clear on many things and quoting all the costs is very commendable. The cost of £50,000+ is considerable…I hope you can keep going with what must be huge costs…the whole “SHMEE” operation is fascinating…just be careful and don’t overstretch yourself. Now…start driving and take us on your adventure!!😀😀😀😀
Appreciate the transparency and the insight. Great content as always!
Biig big respect for making this public. Personally, I never heard an international CZcamsr to tell us about this kind of details. Thanks!
This has already been an absolutely incredible series. It’s going to be probably the best auto vlog ever made on CZcams in the end… I like that I have at least a month of great content to look forward to..
Excellent video as always! A unique perspective and like your breakdown of the cost.
That’s my hometown of Weehawken you started from and cool to see you at the waterfront! I happen to be staying at the hotel right across from the ferry terminal and likely missed you and your crew on that rainy day! Be safe and looking forward to more of your adventure!
Welcome to the USA, great to have you here for a visit. Looking forward to your USA content again.Hope you have a enjoyable and safe visit.😃
Good for you tim, your creating amazing life time memories and exploring the world with your best friend and making a decent living do so .... thats the definition of dream job/ life !!!!!
I love these style of videos dealing with costs 😍
I absolutely love the transparency. I really enjoy the channel and the content
Thanks for giving this insight Tim - really important that honesty engages your supporters
im glad you do these trips and share them with us all, if i had the money it would be my dream to do this but until then, this is great motivation to keep working on it! love it Tim!:)
Fascinating behind the scenes of these large video productions. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
Mad respect for your honesty.
To be honest i was not expecting such a high budget, as this kind of trip coast to coast by shipping a car from Europe is in my bucket list, thank you for sharing ! great content as always (been watching you since 10 years, you inspired me a lot through those years !)
Passed right through my back yard. I live and operate my company on the North Fork of Long Island. Sorry you had such poor weather to drive through. We have some great roads to enjoy, but is cool to see you passed through.
Honestly Tim, I'd look into the possibility of fitting some all-season tires, at least for the stretches through parts with unpredictable and potentially even worse weather. Plus you'd get a lot more miles out of them.
He's British we are very used to unpredictable weather. Driving in the rain is minor to us Brits
@@JD-eo7dr I do find that what Brits call bad weather pales in comparison to bad weather in regions like New England, Colorado, Montana, etc. (Hot weather is hotter, cold is colder too.) Rain is often heavier, as is our snow, which may show up in New England, the upper Midwest, and the Rockies any time now. I think the rain in the UK is much more like the rain in the PNW: there is a fair bit of it, but it tends to fall often and more lightly, rather than the flash flood buckets other regions get. Oh, plus it is hurricane season, which could hit in the diagonal from Maine to Texas, worst in Florida of course.
Amazing video again with the explanations. Can’t wait to see the next video
So glad you're seeing a bit of New England, where I grew up. The parts of the country further north into Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont are definitely worth seeing if you get a chance. It's very different from the southern and western parts of the country you've visited most frequently.
I like this transparancy! Keep up the good work, and trust me, many uf us already appreciate the amount of both effort and money ure putting into this. Thanks!
That was quite a surprise to have shmee say Rhode Island. Hope you have a good time here. The foliage is great this time of year.
I'm just marveling at the sight of NYC in the background. What an incredible city.
Tim, your content never ceases to amaze. On your cross country tour, I would love to see it on a dyno jet here in America versus the numbers it put down in Europe. Super curious of the difference, if any! Keep it up 😊
It’s crazy seeing you in Newport on video. I am frequently out that way and wish I could have met you when you were in town. My daughter stays up with me past her bedtime some nights to watch your videos and I think she would have loved to see the black series in person. Hopefully everything was up to standard during your visit and have a safe trip on the rest of your journey.
Yayyy love that you repped my home - Queens NY. We love having you stateside Tim!
Great video! I’m sure people will flip out to hear the costs, but thank you for breaking them down and showing us what it really takes to do what you do. I understand it’s a fine line to walk and disclose that information, but in our personal lives and in business, numbers matter. And I for one like to see them. The real numbers.
Hats off to you on pushing the boundaries with your channel.
Love these type of videos breaking down the cost of the cars and tours.
Interesting video in terms of the costs. Of course you driving your own car is part of the appeal of the videos.
Enjoy your trip.
Good luck and have fun Shmee
Its good to know that no matter what is going on in the world we can always get an epic road trip from Shmee.
Very interesting cheers for sharing! Always been curious when watching road trip videos! 👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Definitely huge respect for divulging into the expenses of a trip like this- especially being a CZcamsr. Most influencers / online personalities wouldn't dream of making their business expenses public as in today's day and age an automotive CZcamsr spending 50K on a trip will really piss some (uneducated) people off. So props to you, Tim.
Shmee I enjoy your videos, they are well worth the money 💰 for your Safety and viewing your Cars!
Good luck on this owsome trip mate will follow the updates 👍👍👍
Good to share info about your costs ,,👍👍👍😊😊😊 you’re the best you tuber ,, Tim
U absolutely right! Extra special to drive ur own car in another county !!! Love it!
Thank you for coming back on our questions👍 Enjoy the Ride😀
@shmee150, love having you on the Shmeast coast... enjoy!
I love road trips ( a quick plug for the best company I have been with Petrolhead Tours who have recently returned from America).I look forward to the content. Have fun
So exciting to know you were in my back yard! I grew in Hampton Bays a short detour from the route you probably took to get to Orient Point. Wish I could have caught a glimpse of the Solarbeam GT on your way through. Hopefully next time!
Thks for that background infos
btw if it keeps going at least the return shipping will be cheaper than you expected
That so cool that you are in Road Island, great place to bring your AMG. There is a Cars and Coffee event this Sunday the 16th. at Sachuest Beach "second beach" sponsored by the Audrain Auto Museum, hope to see you there...
I really appreciate the honesty with the money point of view! It’s super interesting in my opinion. You earned it so have a nice stay in the US 🤙.
Welcome to the New York/New England Region of the USA, where the rain is absolutely abysmal. It's very surreal seeing you go over the George Washington Bridge, take the Long Island Expressway, and head out to Orient Point. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next on this tour.
Thanks for sharing the details. Always wonder about that.
Paint job looks amazing in the overcast conditions, so much depth!!
Fantastic programme. Love all the cars & information.
That's cool to know you've passed right by me on the way into Long Island. Yeah it was a little dreary yesterday but you should have the next few days pretty good. Yup New York isn't that friendly with wheels. Enjoy your time here and watch out for some of these drivers. Leaves much to the imagination ..lol safe travels!
Very interesting figures Shmee. Especially regarding the hotel costs. I've toured Europe most years since 1989 and without a doubt this is the big money item you can't afford to underestimate when planning a tour.
I hope you had time to drive on the Montauk Hwy / 27A through Lindenhurst.
The ferry is a nice shortcut, but you’re at the mercy of scheduling, order, timing, etc…
Going north this time of the year is an amazing experience with the changing of the seasons.
If it’s in your taste, take the time to appreciate the fall leaf foliage, it’s surprisingly breathtaking if you make it to the mountains. Maine or New Hampshire are some of the great destinations for autumn sightseeing and activities. The rain is unavoidable this time of the year and it is the prelude to the snowfall in few weeks, or months depending on how far north you manage to go. Going westward towards Chicago and the Great Lakes is awesome too, the highways are in acceptable conditions once you’re on the main traveling segments of the highways. The I90 turnpike has been renovated and is more comfortable to ride on. Have fun and safe travels.

Fair play to you, great video as usual! Have a great time!👍
Love these sort of videos just u driving and talking quality content this
So excellent! Cant wait to see your next stop and adventure! Cheeeers!
Enjoy your adventure.
4 years ago my Girlfriend & I drove 8,500 miles across 18 Countries in Europe in my Toyota Avensis, a car I bought to use for work as I was doing 30,000 miles a year plus.
It was such a great experience, a great adventure. I love driving and it was a trip we will never forget. Infact we plan to do many similar ones.
I'm looking to buy a Mercedes early next year, either a CLA45 AMG or a C43 Coupe so the next trips will be so much more fun.
Keep bringing us great content. Thanks
WOW, wish I was paying attention. You were in my neck of the world 🙂Happy driving dude!!!!!
Thanks Tim for your time
Thank you for being that open about it all 👍👍👍
So glad you stopped by Connecticut!! You should come check at the mass or New Hampshire area!! Lots cool stuff to!
Nice a new Shmee video drop right when I open CZcams
Shoutout to the camera man doing a perfect job on grabbing them videos all day for ya.
Shmees surfshark commercial was on point 💯
I hope you make it through NY without any issues. As long as your wheels are forged you should be fine. A local Mercedes dealer could easily straighten them if they do bend.
Wow that´s a lot more than expected but as a viewer I prefer content from "the road". That adds a certain travel-element to the channel which is very enjoyable
very well timed, Tim. "that has been a smooth *thud-thud* sailing."
your explanation of why you decided to take the black series makes me appreciate my 1le so much more
I wish I knew you would be in my neighborhood!!! I gotta start checking your site more often
Early again to another video to comment but will be watching a bit later :) Great when you make these transparent videos on the costs
Tim I really liked this video and you talking frankly to us all. You are the envy of everyone and will remain so for a long time I would suggest.
I love seeing you on these trips and actually driving your cars like they were meant to be
wow as an og fan and a new yorker, you have no idea how happy i was to see you drive on the road that i used to drive every week to my college campus. so glad ur doing this US tour
Tim adding a in video add, this trip must be expensive and that guarantees there will be some wicked content coming soon!
I like videos discussing your costs. Would be nice if you can add a text overlay for us to keep track of the costs as we watch
I loved the cost breakdown and was quite surprised by it,I was expecting it to be way more expensive
Great video Tim! The money will be worth it i'm sure!
Big respect man you motivate me to drive more and I enjoy it
Very interesting information thanks for that
Question are you going to Austin GP
Reason to get aftermarket wheels for road trips, cruises etc and keep the original to put back on for car shows or when selling it.
Hey tim, Can i just say that It's really cool to see the fact that you use a windows laptop along with a samsung phone! Usually we see people use iphones and such and it makes me quite happy to see something different for once.
just finished doing my r129's oil change, to my delight shmee has also just finished uploading . Time to take a road trip to the town over.
Lmao my neck of the woods! I’m from CT and my wife’s family is from Long Island so I make that journey on the ferry with my 370Z quite often. So cool to recognize places in your video. Hope you enjoyed a pretzel and a beer on the ferry as I typically do! Cheers, enjoy your time up here! Sorry the weather wasn’t the greatest
Thank you for sharing the costs Tim. My cousin & I were trying to estimate the financial commitment needed for a similar trip as yours literally yesterday. Danko.
I´m going to follow you on this trip, love your storys, but it would be nice if you could point the camera forward, so we can see where you are going. Keep up the great work !
Next tour you will def have to bring the Zenvo!!!:)
Thanks for the content shmee
Too bad you had so much rain it would have been nice if you checked out more of Long Island where I live! Hope you enjoy your stay in Rhode Island!
This color was the right choice, Tim is a master at choosing color specs.
Come up to New Hampshire I know there is nothing up here to do Except for the scenery but it had be awesome to see you and the car
Wow. The numbers. I love this
Very Interesting, thanks for sharing.
Love you and your content Mr.150. I enjoy your openness and knowledge.
You said that this US trip is costing you about $60K. To put that in perspective what do you bring down a day (on average) from You Tube alone? I know it’s rude to ask but you opened the door with being open with the cost of this trip. I really appreciated the Happy Hippy tour, he’s an interesting collector for sure.

Shmee150 Great Video I'm glad you were so transparent about your Expense for the AMG GT Black Series Tour and I'm so glad you made it to Newport Rhode inlands safely
Tim, is all this on a work visa or can it be done on tourist visa?
How much do you get from the content? Does it off set the expenditure? Will you make a profit? Thanks for sharing the info Tim.
next time ,ask shinmikeyin how much cost ship Pagani and koenigsegg to several continents...
You look like sh*t man. Like a 40 year old 😢
