thank you for this wonderful dispatch on the history of our town. i have loved lakeview cemetery since i was a teen. it was a favored place for kids to hang out in or ride bikes through. Rockefeller's and Garfield's marker and tomb made me feel like our town is integral to the fabric of the nation.
It is always easy to do a video on someone, leave out all the controversial and inconvient factual history, and produce a softball image on the subject. While a nice video that I'm sure the Rockefeller family members today would approve of, there is so much left out. It's almost like they were paid by them to make it. They do have the money, you know.

As l have stated in a necessary redemption reply below- my family traces back to mutual grandfather Rev War patriot Deihl Rockefeller at Saratoga. I am sorry to see missing the real summer home of The Casements not be included, and how JD contributed to rebuilding of the Flagler and Ormond Beach area after a huge church fire and hurricaine relief in the time of need for those towns.
