Rainy Milford Track

The Milford Track is a four-day hike through New Zealand's fjords in the southwest of the South Island, and is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful in the world.
Fiordland National Park, where the track passes, is known for its beautiful scenery. The trail passes through rainforests, across rivers and is flanked by countless waterfalls flowing down the surrounding mountains.
It is one of the nine New Zealand's most famous hiking trails, known as the Great Walks. Milford Track is the only one where you must book overnight accommodation at all three huts along the route. You must also book boat transport, both to and from the trailhead. There is no other way to get there.
The location of the track is really rainy. It gets up to 7 metres of rain a year. Except for the last day, it rained the whole time. However, it didn't take away from the beauty of the trail. The waterfalls were stronger and the nature more magical.
