I don't understand why this wasn't a bigger hit at the time. It's brilliant and still gets a regular outing in 2020....

There were a lot of good songs at the time. It’s true that this is a classic and has stood the test of time. It still sounds fresh now, not dated at all.

Was too similar to Company B 'Fascinated" which was a genuine freestyle record. This rubbed a lot of DJs the wrong way because it smacked of cultural appropriation. That's why.

2023 and this still sounds funky with that punchy bassline and beat and guitars played through a good sound system

Bought this on vinyl the day of release. Did private mixing, turntable to turntable. This definitely inspired me to take mixing to the next level.
I love the pop guitar rhythms. Hypnotic and energizing

Phil Harding. Fierce mix but that vocals are so fuckin annoying. Wish there was a track only on vinyl. I used to play just the end of the mix cause the drums were like sonic crack on my boxy speakers.

@@tednorton5150 What country is your 12" copy? Cause i can't find any including Phil Harding on the credits.
I think all the remixes were made by Pete Hammond, but sounds interesting if you have one with Phil Harding.
