PHILIPPINES MOST BEAUTIFUL BARANGAY? Boracay In Masbate (Best Beaches)

  • THIS COULD BE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BARANGAY IN THE PHILIPPINES!
    On this day, I head south on Burias Island in Masbate and explore local barangays. First, I find myself hanging with some fisherman, and talking about life. Amazing how there is always a Filipino who has worked overseas. After enjoying a carinderia lunch in the main poblacion of Claveria, I make my way towards barangay San Isidro... it is freaking beautiful! This white sand barangay stretches seemingly forever. It is almost as if the whole south side of this island is white sand!
    This really reminded me of Boracay, except without the big resorts and modern amenities. Such a beautiful part of the Philippines!
    Masbate is incredible... and I finish the evening at a great little coffee shop run by an inspiring teacher!
    Power On!

      And yet so many clueless travelers (most of whom have never gone to the Philippines) flood the comments section of different travel vlogs saying that Thailand is way more beautiful! LOL!

      We’re bias for obvious reason but TBH it’s a tie. Thailand has something to offer that PI doesn’t but it goes both ways. I guess “to each their own”.

      Nah! I've been to Thailand many times and have visited their most touristy spots - Phuket, Phi phi, Krabi, Maya Bay, Koh Lipe, etc. They are nowhere near the beauty of Philippine Islands and beaches especially Palawan! Thailand is overhyped and overrated!

    Burias Island is soo beautiful! 🤯 I'm surprised that there aren't resort after resort all along that gorgeous beach. I'm kind of glad that there aren't, though, because it is so natural and unspoiled. It's nice to find places like that still exist without being overwhelmed by tourism.
    I find it fascinating how popular cheese flavor is in the PH. I would never have thought of cheese flavor for ice cream. 😲 I'll have to make sure I try it when I finally go to the PH.

    • @CommieKilla1977
      @CommieKilla1977 Před 10 měsíci +2

      No worry coz there are plenty of unspoiled beaches in the Philippines that are unbeaten path but only locals are aware of. Tourism has been focused so far in the mid section of the country.

    • @christopherturco197
      @christopherturco197 Před 10 měsíci +4

      @@CommieKilla1977 Glad that there are so many and that locals are able to enjoy them without tourists infringing on them. Not everywhere has to be a resort.
      Having always lived in areas where there are beautiful beaches, I dislike that the best beaches end up as the domain of the resorts/tourists and the locals lose out.
