I was coming back from Stafford, passed Thorpe and saw Hyperia with red lights dotted all around it, was an incredible sight given the moon was right behind it. Was a great sight.
@@jamesjokes1880 they must have done it for a reason,personally I don’t think they affect the ride,i was to in shock to notice or care tbh. Everyone is entitled to an opinion tho.
@@DigitalDan n owrries, it was great, thanks, I didn't get to do Hyperia at night in the end but looking forward to doing it again. p.s. rumba Rapids has been updated on Thorpe Park's Website as being closed for winter maintenance, so hopefully this extra winter maintenance from 9th September 2024 will incloude a full refurbishment and allow it to reopen for the whole of the 2025 season. It was my first ever time getting to go on this in the dark I think it’s better as you said you can’t see the mud pit 😂 but jokes aside it’s one of the best in my opinion. 👍

The reason that brake run is lit up as blue is that was the location of the last drop of logger's leap. A very nice tribute!

i went a few days ago and the safety briefing had moved even further down, you could only see the top inch of the word safety
