    So true not an overclock machine. The key to these Aurora machines is to keep the cpu under 5.0GHz . And game with the all fans at 50% . When not gaming set your defaults to Balanced.

      @Nubsauce Před 2 lety +1

      I pushed this to 5.1ghz with 1.250v and it is hitting 76 peak on several cores running AC:V at 1440P w/HDR on max settings. When overclocking it, always try and get the V on the CPU as low as possible. The stock 5.3 profile was hitting 100c on several cores, which is WAY too hot for my liking.

    For some reason with my Alienware R14, my Command Center says my cpu usage is 0 when running games, but the task manager says the usage.
    I have a Ryzen 9 5900(not the 5900x), an Rtx 3080, 32gb Ram. My cpu temp is usually around 80 degrees when gaming, my gpu temp stays usually around 70-85 degrees. I'd like to start streaming on it and doing video editing at some point.
    Since I'm new to the PC spectrum, what are the main things I should test and watch out for with the R14?

    So, my R 13 should not be making a grinding noise like a table saw under load then eh? Darn.

  • @AmagiZero
    @AmagiZero Před 2 lety +2

    hey is it possible you could make a video about your games running at 1080p (unlocked frames if you want or whatever refresh rate your monitor is) at the MAX settings on a game/AAA game title. plus Streaming/Recording something. im curious to see how the performance would go. or if it will be noticeable or play just fine with no problem. if not then thats fine i understand.

    Can you check vrm temps next? because from what im seeing the vrm is absolutely tiny, and the vrm heatsinks as well are very small. And the fact that its got a i9 12900k 16 core is very concerning. Past aurora r12 vrms blew up due to extreme heat.

    And If an AW device got trouble, Can I bring it to Dell Store to repair?
