I got an idea for ya'll, try catching slabs,Walters,pikes or whatever only using survival fishing kits. The pocket rod or uncle flints are some I know of. Bring awareness to survival kits in winter and summer. Never know. Tight lines brother

Woodland Resort is THE only place to stay on Devils Lake. Everything is all in one place, and you can get right out on the lake from there. I worked there for a brief time one year and I loved the place- 2021 duck season I helped a guy get into the cabin your staying at and we had a fish fry and had a couple drinks, never met him before just a kind man from Minnesota. I’ll be heading back someday Wisconsin don’t hold a candle to this place👍❤️
It doesn't get any better than Devils Lake fishing. Summer or winter, you can catch limits of walleye without too much effort. How we always fish them is with tip ups in tandem with jigging rods in the icehouse. Allows you to cover more water to find the sweet spot. Northerns through the ice is a blast too.
I really enjoyed staying at Woodland, but we did her in the summer. That lake is definitely a keeper for destinations. You have to watch out for transom grabbers during open water, though.
The fishing in the spring and summer is awesome up here at woodland in you can find rock piles and old fence lines you'll be able to get on a good bite.

We fished devils lake mid December and caught well over 100 walleye a day. On top of catching lots of slab perch. Biggest fish were 28 inch walleye and 14 inch perch. The bar is the best! Prepare yourself to get hammered if you go! I have pics on the gram if you don’t believe it. Best fishing I’ve done through the ice!
Yes we Asians/Hmong love white bass. We Minnesotan Hmong flood devils lake every summer 😂😅. Been there once ice fishing and it’s tough but huge Northerns. Great video like always.

@@JamesVang Went i went out there we just jumped around spots,you can hire a guide online but if you know the place a little more u can just jump around,devils lake is huge and there are a lot of small ponds and lakes connected to it you can hit
