Poor Curtis, he loved Claudia so much he couldn't believe she would betray him. He should have listened to Abby and not contact his wife, otherwise he wouldn't be in that predicament, but because he did, they finally caught those despicable, vile, and evil people. Curtis is a good man but blinded by his love.
Still, the connivingly calculated actions of the guilty ones surprised me. Many of us have had fair-weather, two-faced friends or worse… yet those guilty in this story go to another much darker level. In the story, the way it all develops builds tension and interest, so it's effectively told.

You have to remember that many of us want to believe that those we love have our best interests at heart. We don't want to believe they would betray ot hurt us so when they do, may take some time to get over the shock then do what needs to be done to the betrayers.❤️🐉💙💙🌈🌈😎😎

I don’t like weak stupid characters in stories.
I have had a thyroid condition for most of my life, and it NEVER prevented me from working. What kind of thyroid condition does the mother have, or is this just used as an excuse not to work? I think it's just an excuse for the nightmare mother
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in my early twenties and had it removed. Now I have to take pills for the rest of my life. Having thyroid issues didn’t interfere with my life. Was able to work sometime two jobs until I retired. She used her thyroid disease to avoid working. She is a very nasty human being.
Okay, I am trying but the victims are way to passive and weak. These stories are becoming hard for me to listen to.
