  • Most people spend a year or two planning a kitchen. Sarah Robertson spent 10. She’s been designing other people’s kitchens for the past decade, but during that time, she was filing away ideas - on Houzz and in binders before Houzz. She got the chance to put those ideas into action about a year ago and recently completed the kitchen of her dreams. Here’s what 10 years of professional kitchen design planning looks like. www.houzz.com/magazine/kitche...

This kitchen is just incredible. Her problem solving abilities are through the roof. Large sauté and fry pans take so much space to store properly- what a solution! The island is sublime. Thanks HouzzTV for showcasing these incredible designers.

I did nearly all drawers when I remodeled my kitchen in 2016! Love them.

Great kitchen! Wonderful to have windows on every wall. I love the brass sink faucet and the hardware on the drawers. The room seems practical, workable, welcoming and beautiful.

Love you kitchen ...especially the drawer/lower cabinet organization..a designated place for everything...Fantastic!...The area is light, homey and inviting...Some home designs are so ornate and nice to only look at..but this kitchen/dining area looks user friendly...Good jib👍...Thanks for sharing

This is a very well planned space. I am not crazy about the back-splash, too busy.

Bravo! Is it a downdraft vent in the stove or is the vent above -- if it is above do you have challenges with stuff getting on the windows as the vent pulls it out?

Just a thoughtful design -I had never seen a roll of paper towel inserted so cleverly into cabinetry -brilliant -and the cat dishes -for a cat that is food obsessed ! Great job -but consider taking down the EAT sign -dated and not to scale -but that is your call ✨🌞✨👏👏👏👏👏

Starting to realize windows are more important than upper cabinets for me.

Great windows but not liking the corner cabinets. Not at all functional. But love the partitions for the pans!

beautiful - but those benchtop tall cabinets scream 'pain in the a*se'... and all that grout that needs cleaning...

This is nice, it actually feels homely whereas most American kitchens seem to be designed solely to 'impress'. BUT, just as you're thinking how beautiful it is, you see the word "EAT' above the dining table which is so dated, so naff, it just ruins the vibe. Get rid!
